Richard Dawkins meets Hamza...the "peaceful" Muslim!

THIS VIDEO HAS SUBTITLES. YOU WILL NOT SEE THEM ON IPAD OR TABLETS. Again from the world atheist convention in Dublin; Richard Dawkins debates with Hamza Andreas Tzortzis: sadly it is difficult to hear Dawkins as he speaks in a VERY low voice. The video also contains a short news clip of the event from Irish tv. which came as a surprise to me!!!

this guy made a freaking good question! "why would god create us to chop off parts of our genetalia that the god himself designed?" It really has to make someone who believes in a creator think.

Trymchannel People who love God wouldn't even consider it. There are many Gods, but only one Creator God. The greatest gift of God is charity (Love) towards one another... Whomever does as you mentioned to another, will be dealt with accordingly. Dawkins opinions are simply that, opinions nothing more, and regarding morality I agree with hin on things such as not doing anything to anyone that could cause harm, but not relating to God, because he doesn't know Him!

Gordon Mitchell So your opinion that a god exists is more than an opinion ?! Evolution is more than an opinion, it's an overwhelming fact. It is a fact because people have independently came to the same conclusions. That has never ever happened with religion. I can give you examples of evolution predicting things that enforces it credibility even more. The bible never predicted anything. It was postdicted. Lastly, how do you "know" god ? Seriously, have you seen him ? Heard him?

You talk about God as if He exists! How can you say that you don't believe in God if you refer to Him? Red pill, blue pill, the choice is yours! But both options are available to you and to everyone. If I believed in God, I would be open to choice, but I am not open to choice because I know! Do you believe that your father is, or do you know he is? It's more than me, it's more than a believing, it is a closeness with no possible space in between. I want you to know Him as I do! You would be complete if you did!

Gordon Mitchell "You talk about God as if He exists! How can you say that you don't believe in God if you refer to Him?" People also talk about Jar Jar Binks as if he exists when speaking about the character's value (or most definitely the lack thereof) to the Star Wars franchise. "Red pill, blue pill, the choice is yours! But both options are available to you and to everyone." Belief is not a choice. Could you choose to believe that you could fly? Or that the planets do not rotate around the sun? 'Belief is the acceptance of a claim, and acceptance is the result of being convinced, and i am not convinced that you can change your belief by exercising your will." - Matt Dillahunty "If I believed in God, I would be open to choice, but I am not open to choice because I know!" No, you most definitely do not know. You believe. There is a difference. Know - Be aware of through observation, inquiry, or information: Knowledge - [Philosophy] True, justified belief; certain understanding, as opposed to opinion. Belief - An acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists: (Taken from oxford dictionary)

Does 'our customs' mean: prehistoric polytheistic customs, or relatively newer christian customs, or the emerging atheistic customs? 'It's the Muslims' turn to start respecting our societies' Do you see Hamza disrespecting anyone here? or to the contrary; that guy rudely disrupting (by totaly unrelated subject) a civil mini-interview-discussion? Why is it that difficult to see, and say that there is only disrespect done here; is done by that rude (possibly atheist) guy? 'Muslims must integrate.' Muslims are integrating into different societies pretty good. But probably by 'integration' you mean, wish and therefore mistake by leaving their beliefs and religion to the side and melt, and become atheist like you!.. 'They don't seem to realize whom they provoke.' There is no provocation (certainly not in this context) in this civil discussion. You also contradict yourself by saying this; 'We all don't want to see what happens when pople like him give up on talking and start acting.' 'They under estimate that we won't let them win in our lands. ' Since there is no fight here, you sound like you mean; 'we won't let them speak-discuss-talk in our lands if they promote their beliefs!!! Thats a major intolerance and again in the same token (with your self-contradictary words); 'We all don't want to see what happens when pople like him give up on talking and start acting' You seem like; you can't tolerate others (and their beliefs), yet you ask others to tolerate you (and your disbeliefs)!

@ I will tolerate your beliefs when I am in your countries. If I can't do it, I won't come. I expect the same of you! Maybe you see a contradiction, but you misunderstand. I don't want there to be a bigger conflict. But you guys provoke it. I realize that most of you don't think of it as a provocation. But there have been too many things that happened, the ugly reactions after some cartoons were published, to name only some instances. Our laws clearly allow you to have a religion. I think, many muslims don't actually know what a religion is. They know what a deen is, which is something other than religion. A religion is kept in check by the laws. Yet, there are radical muslims aplenty that say things like: "A muslima can't marry non-muslim men or women." This is another example of provocation. And before you parrot the standard muslim response: No, we don't want to force them to marry non-muslims or women, whysoever you simpletons seem to understand this all so often. But don't teach BS like that while you are in countries where this is not in accordance with the law! Your religion is something called islam, and it is a reduced version of the non-European "deen" that is also called islam; it is reduced by any laws and human rights that contradict the "deen" of islam. Now tell me: Is the difference between "deen" and "religion" clear? If not, then you are one of the reasons for the big troubles that will occur soon... sadly there seems no alternative :(

@@hah-vj7hc ‘I will tolerate your beliefs when I am in your countries.’ Many millions of Muslims are in their own country (they are born white, black, brown, yellow Londonians or Parisiens, or New Yorkers, etc) (for ex: like Hamza in here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rIWC2tGadpavnpc.html yet you seem to Not able to tolerate that. But contrary there are many millions of Christians, Jews and atheists live in peace in the Middle East with no problem. ‘But you guys provoke it.’ I don’t see any provocation in here . I can only see a logical, non-insulting discussion. Religion or Deen is a way of life people believe and try to adhere to. Therefore of course it has rules and laws that you atheist may not like. Unless and until it interferes with your life, you should not stick your nose into someone else’s beliefs and life! Yet you can NOT tolerate even that much of free-speech, you call that ‘provocation’!. You cannot tolerate non-insulting-peaceful discussions, yet on the other hand; you want Muslims to tolerate your likes' Defamations and insults. You may think your race and brain are superior and therefore have the right to slap anyone who doesn't believe like you and expect them to ‘turn the other cheek’! How pathetic that is! Like it or not, religion is a way of life and all people have the right to believe whatever they want to, and (without forcing them to others) they have the right to act according to their beliefs. To bad! the world isn’t revolving around your little atheistic bullying life.

And they ask, ‘how can I believe in a god that would allow a world like this?’ The real question is, what’s wrong with the people that Allah swt made with their free will? Why do they let these things happen? Because God has every right to ask us the same question. How can you rape a little child? I gave you reasoning, power, knoweldege, I gave you will, I gave you the ability to speak, the ability to control your appetites. And you do this? So that’s the real question. Its not ‘where is God?’ It’s ‘where’s the good will of the people that God created?’

+Maher Akra No, he listened to the question for a while untill he understood, quiet early, what it was all about. The tradition of genetial mutilation of boys foreskin, and girls clitoris. - Since it was a peak on Dawkins question about evolution versus creation. Since he didnt want to get his religion stripped down from the "artillery" of wisdom, he just left the stage with the nose in the air. I really love how the best arguments win, time after time. And since Islam is so fundamentalistic totalitarian, so it actually makes such a religious racist divercity, it should be continued to be discussed, looked at in a critical view, and stripped down untill, there is no more to believe in. It's on a good way allready. Just the past years I see more and more muslim women getting rid of the Hijab in public. Actually now it's possible to speak with them just like having a conversation with anyone else. Before, muslim girls changed to western clothes on the mall, on the way from school, just to live in to their dream about beeing modern and free in a tolerant society for a while, and change back to the muslim clothes when going home from the mall. Now it seems that time has passed. Even the parents are softening up, and let their children make their own decition. And that is brains, that is social adaption. The best arguments always win! Thats how democracy work! Its really funny to look at this videos with Christopher Hitchen and Richard Dawkins, and see how brains beat the book. And the foundation of Darwinism is allready set on the forum, what makes you figure out even new variants on how stupid and depressed Islam, among other religions work. - Like the muslim lady in a debate against Hitchen said: "Women have alot of rights in Islam!".. Yeah, right.. it's like listen to "He is really kind, when he is not an total asshole!". In western society women doesent have a ton of rights, they have only one right and that is ... All Rights Reserved.

Ok, if you where my kid, and I belonged to the, lets say, The Holy Cow Religion, and in my stupid religion, what is written by the Holy Cow it self, that says your left arm is less usefull then your right arm, and therefore it must be cut off before an age of 3 years. (...here is page of arguments that builds upon the justification of the act... bla bla.. danger of infection.. bla bla... dirty arm.. etc...). Now to what is wrong with mutilation of children. First it's not their choice! Second the sexual life later in life, at least without clitoris, and maybee the losing the lips, the sexlife is.. yes, maybee you can explain more about that. We where born with our bodyparts for a reason! And that reason comes from evolution! Anyways, even that shouldnt be enough, it's not the grown up selfish right, thru their own belief to take decitions on the kids behalf, of what they are gonna think, feel, wish or not wish! Im really really glad I didnt have muslim parents that indoctrined, and mutilated me, before I could make my own choice. But you might now understand what Im really talking about, because you didnt have the choice from beginning. And THAT is totally wrong with genital mutilation, and should, if not the political correctness was in the way, be a case for the childcare. I really love my foreskin! Thanks Holy Cow for your creation!

Abid Rahim I can’t stand this notion of “reverted back to islam”. First of as history and logic would point out, Islam was literally the last religion on earth. A lot of Islam’s values derive from Judaism which was believed to be the first Abrahamic faith on earth. Muslim values and practices were created by Muhammad, they didn’t exist before him. This is literally another one of Islam’s closed minded ideologies that their faith was and is the only faith on earth to be right. Absolute bullshit. Learn to think critically.

OMAR EJAZ Nonsense. There was some pre-scientific investigation of nature for the first few hundred years of Muslim society, which contributed a significant amount of knowledge to humanity, but as soon as religious fundamentalism kicked in about, oh, a thousand years ago give or take, that was over and hasn't recovered since. There was never actual *science* in the Muslim world, despite, ironically, the contributions of folks like Alhazen to what became the scientific method. There still isn't. In fact, most Muslims seem to be stuck in a decidedly non-scientific conception of the world.
