Howard's the all-time talent-selection-wizard. People thought it was accidental - but with each new "star" (Beetlejuice, Wendy, Melrose Larry Green, etc. - it grew and grew.) Howard said to himself, yep, this'll work for the show!! -incredible and I haven't mention staff such as Stuttering John - dudes that Howard put towards the Fast Track. -tried to get on the Stern show (intern), hadda work at UPS whle putting self through nearby film school. I did send "Girl Candy" to Howard - mentioning the show to her - i.e. during the Boy-Lee era. Gary made us forget all about previous admins - that's how incredible Gary has been. -Fred's ridiculous, I'm not even gonna sing Fred's praises he's such a Monster - been everything - a staple. . .

Me and my dad are so disconnected we haven't spoken to each other over 25 plus years and I rarely think about him .

I'm on the West Coast now, don't have Sirius (to my great shame) - didn't realize Howard has INCORPORATED his year of therapy into the show. Howard himself is a therapist. So grateful to get turned onto therapy by Howard/Robin. Way way back in 1983. Wet-ehind-his-ears-film-school-student up on W. 115th. .(programmed classes/UPS-work AROUND the Stern show - HADDA be home by 3 p.m. !!!) .

Congratulations, Richard! I followed the results of the super bowl just for you. Had never cared before.

Well, I am not a sports fan, but when I see the passion, the boundless enthusiasm and the sheer love that people have for their teams I feel that I am missing out on something. I hope his team does well and that he get to go with his dad.

Richard put into words the raw emotions of father/son bonding over the triumphs, heartbreaks, successes and struggles of your favorite sports teams. It transcends generations unlike a power I've never seen.
