I agree, his solo stuff is great and his stage presentation is unreal, but with the verve their up their eye to eye with legends.

Wish he would've talked about the Forth the last Verve record, because THAT is a masterpiece.

I think this is the first time I hear him speak. I wasn't expecting him to have a voice as dark as his is.

I want McCabe to pull Ashcroft's head out of the clouds and put their differences aside. They are much better together than they are apart. Thats a fact. Just listen to the first two Verve albums when they wrote as a band.....its unmatched.

All the verve albums are unique and excellent in every way The influences of the artists involved are relevant of coarse. Richard is now solo and is recognised for that and has his own sound which is just as much appreciated by many. Of coarse everyone who has followed him over the years misses the collaboration of Mcabe and co... nothing can be taken away from them. I would love to see the Verve revisit our world again Richard is doing exactly what he is supposed to do Waiting for his gig In Dublin next year

It gets so tiresome, the McCabe thing. The fact is that its done.... Ashcroft is a well established solo artist and McCabe well..... Why not just appreciate them as individuals and let it go

He is a great frontman and singer and wrote many classics , but he made the best music of his life with the verve and it's a shame that he can't get rid of his ego and accept that and talk with mccabe and jones again

Richard is totally relevant today. All his music is played in our house most days. He's in my head while I get through all this COVID Sham doing yoga. Keeps me strong and focused on my truth. Can't give anyone on this earth more praise than him. ❤️❤️❤️

actually he has quite some good songs of his own, especially from his early solo albums. Song for the lovers, words just get in the way, music is power, break the night with color...
