My add on: Under the charges of theft and making a false statement to a police officer, the store owner had to pay a $6,000 fine and was also sentenced to 2 years in prison. During his time in prison, the owner received a notice that his store had to close down, due to a lack of customers, and this was because word about his behavior got out.

When I was the branch manager of a savings & loan, I had a male customer argue with me over 3 cents. He said I was wrong. I turned out to be right.

Some people are something else. This guy shouldn't be acting like that.

If i were up to me, I would definitely had the owner arrested after i showed him the evidence while he serves up to 3 to 5 years in prison. While his employee be the manager of the store so he can do good changes in the store like lowering the prices for ex: 2 Liter drink should be $1.39. And treat the customers with respect and not to rip them off like that man Grant did.

Great video what he was doing made no sense at all if he was afraid of that man then why would he take his keys to force him to stay and all this just because he was $0.20 short to buy milk my local store spots me all the time because I leave them change all the time other people do too in case somebody comes up short I'm guessing he'll be charged with filing a false police report extortion and possibly false imprisonment since he took their keys to prevent them from leaving

The store owner talking about he has to survive during inflation? Well pal should e thought about that before antagonizing people and taking their keys

I'd glad it turned out this way, but what would they charge the owner with? False Imprisonment? And if he's being arrested, the employee can't be there alone so the store would have to close wouldn't it?

People like the customer here are already facing tons of problems. There's no point to make it harder for them.

I know this is just a story but here in the UK no police would have been involved and the shopkeeper would have had his teeth removed individually without medication.

I know not all Store Owners are mean here let me explain years back I was living in low income housing and every week I went to a little Store around the corner well there was a time I went in and was waiting in line to pay what I wanted to buy This big black dude Starts Poking me and pushing me non stop I kept asking him to Quit (I dont remember if he was front in line or not) The Owner was ringing up a Customer and saw the whole thing he tells the person he was helping Excuse me a minute he steps out (another person who worked there went to finish ringing the Customer up at register) The Owner grabs the guy harassing me by coming up behind him and grabbing his neck (imagine the Uncle Phil throw out as I describe the next part) he opens the door and literally throws the guy out yelling GET OUT the guy harassing me said can I have my stuff? The Owner shouts NO GET OUT the guy said Can I have my money back? The Owner shouts NO GET OUT AND DONT EVER COME BACK he turns to me and made sure I had no injuries then tells me Come I'LL ring u up Everybody else moaned when I was placed in line at the front and not the back his response was Hey if u were harassed like he was I would be helping u too he even told me not to let that bad night ruining me ever coming back and that not all Customers are like that he was letting me know he hates bullies and I dont have to be scared to come back I wish all Store Owners were like that
