Dope interview! But regarding The Rich Gang situation. We gotta remember that project was a MIXTAPE, not an album. It was never uploaded on ITunes nor was any physical copies sold in the stores. It was realeased back in 2014, so Streaming also wasn’t a thing yet. The industry was in a wierd stage cause CD’s weren’t selling but platforms like Apple Music weren’t available yet. The only way Thug & Quan would of made money was off the song “Lifestyle” only because it was released as a single on ITunes. The rest of the material was just songs that they could successfully tour with and that’s when the money would of came.
