As a Steelers fan, we dislike the ravens, but respect them. As for the browns, we hate them because they act like they won something when they never have. Boos are definitely louder against Cleveland.

@@louischase994 Like I dunno, telling the media all the teams he'd love to be traded to but only these teams, yet change those teams while playing for a team he is currently contracted for. A fanbase doesn't tend to like you very much when you consistently talk about going anywhere else in public in such a manner. Complain about offensive line play quality, but never taking a deal and always taking the shorter deals to maximize profits. Utilized a suspiciously lower amount on his supposedly "charitable causes" on the actual causes himself. It's been revealed he is also not a great teammate behind closed doors, and that his persona he presents to the media is not the one he actually brings to the table. He is a player that apparently wants very much the credit to be his and to be put in positions that don't benefit the team winning games, but benefit him in terms of receiving that credit. Basically, he likes to pretend in front of the media he's a "its on me, what I could've done better" guy but behind the locker room doors he's very much not in the belief its his fault when things goes wrong, and very much his contribution when things go right. People in Denver got rubbed very much the wrong way when he hadn't done a damn thing but they had given him a private office in the Broncos headquarters, and while he kept a "open door" for teammates, it was very clear he was treated in an absurdly special manner. Which is also unlikely to be true as well if what his teammates like Lynch mentioned about Wilson in Seattle in short "You had to go through 'his guys' if you wanted to talk with him." That's extremely bizzare for someone who is not an executive, to treat people as if they have to get privileged to speak with him. None of this accounts for the fact he hasn't played well or consistently in years. People view the TD/INT ratio, but not the plays down to down that actually imply if he's a good QB. People who find the things I mentioned abrasive will double down on disliking a guy like that when you're not winning games that matter but getting paid like you do.

I'm hoping Wilson and/or Fields works out. Wilson is at least a former pro bowler with a SB ring though he seemed to lack his old magic in Denver. His job to lose. Fields has tons of potential but i consider him a long shot. I've seen nothing from as of yet to make me think of him as a long term future starter.

He hasn't shown nearly enough to convince a critical thinker that he's a championship level QB in my opinion. His passing is erratic. The game appears to be too fast for him in that department and his Houdini act in the fourth quarter needs to stop immediately. That's not going to allow him to earn a starting position anywhere.

And we all seen the implications that come with such bad center play, and didn't have a great running game if you take fields stats away. And after his horrendous start to the year he was greatly improved even in a offense that went completely away from his skill set. But him I'm a run 1st, play action, designed roll outs, and designed run plays for him. And I'm sure his confidence will improve as well as his pocket presence. From all the videos of him looks like his hitch is gone from his motion. I'm not sure but seeing him in a different team, and a much better offense for his skill set, why can't he improve?

The same cannot be said of Justin Fields.

@@moonytheloony6516 its wild to me that people use +7year old tape to validate Russell Wilsons competancy as a QB. Reality of his situation is that if he was still that player, he would be with Seattle, if he was still even 80% of that player, the Broncos wouldnt be paying him 90million dollars to play elsewhere. Is Russ a better QB than Fields? Yes, probably. Is Fields a better athlete? Yes, by alot. Maybe its recency bias, but alot more current successful offenses revolve around QB mobility(even if not as an outright running threat, but through bootlegs/PA plays, or improvisational play extensions) and that was Russell's strength too, but maybe through age, or a lack of confidence, he has lost that. In my opinion, its more realistic to evaluate/compare these guys based on the last 3 years rather than pretend Russell Wilson is still a perennial pro bowler.

All the Steeler podcasts have gone immediately to the Wilson vs.Fields topic because that discussion will garner excitement, division, and drama, which does make cash. I haven't seen a Steelers' podcast yet that breaks down both Wilson's and Field's last two years of QB tape. That would clearly show why both were discarded and available at such a low value. That, to me, isn't being completely transparent for the shake of selling either hope for cash or to sow emotional division for profit.
