I bought 2 ringneck parrots , the seller told me they are babies one 5 months and the other is 6 , but im doubting that they are over a year old, I bouth them like for 3 weeks , i was happy to sit with them and play then teach them, but one of them may got jealous and went unactive not eating as the other one , i dont know honestly because im new with these things 😢, I dont like to see my parrots bored and not playing around The issue is after i saw the videos about the age, i got disappointed because it will be difficult to teach them anything What to do 😫

Don’t worry about the age, they can still learn at any age. I would be more worried about the bird not eating, this could be from stress or other things such a illnesses. Do you have them in separate cages, if not I highly recommend you separate them otherwise the one could kill the other especially if they don’t get along.

@Riccothegreenpiedirn thank you for the response I hope he doesn't have any illness , 😭 , he is eating but I'm afraid that he's not eating well as the younger one ( like double quantity of the older one ) They are like 24/7 out of the cage Some times I let them only sleep inside the cage and play with toys ( not to much I let them together inside the cage) And when they are near to window while it's open to have a fresh air And the rest of the day they are out I'm learning now specially from you how to treat them and social with them You are very nice I like your videos and appreciate your responses
