A bit silly. Arsenal can have up to 60 games this season and Riccardo Calafiori will get many games. Man City have a couple of players for every position....they all get games. So Calafiori will strengthen Arsenal and can play in midfield. Rice, Odegaard and Calafiori.....that will be something. Arteta knows what he is doing 😉😊

I THINK the plan is (Calafiori-Gabriel-Saliba-Timber) with Timber inverting from the right into midfield making a back 3 in attack, and i have a feeling Ben White is gonna be the next Ramsdale.

Think he will slot in a defensive midfield role with declan rice playing in a more advanced box to box midfielder!

Timber is exceptional as a DM as well. Zinchenko’s race has been run at Arsenal. Calafiori can replace a Partey/Zinchenko/Kiwior departure. If the deal happens, it improves the team further. Lets not forget he can even go into the 6 role if molded properly.

Calafiori is a natural LB. Specifically an inverted one due to his technical ability. He can play CDM too which goes hand in hand with being an inverted wing back.

After missing 4 seasons through injury, Calafiori is a natural Arteta signing. He can play CDM too which goes hand in hand with replacing Artetas previous disaster injury prone signings...

Timber can play as a LB, a RB and DM. He is genuinely one of the best players in our squad when he’s fit.

50m is over the odds. Let's be honest it should be 20-25m with no one competing for his signature and especially coming from Bologna 😂❤ but if his wages are only 70-80k a week for a top quality LB, LCB option it makes sense for us regarding building squad depth.

The way Calafiori plays, he would be a great DM

Calafiori ticks a lot of boxes. He starts all day at left for Arsenal.

Signing Calafiori shows intent to fight for the title. We all know if either Gabriel/Saliba injured, it will affect the team, considering we have to cover that position with either White or Tomiyasu, having Calafiori gives us assurance and I won't be surprised if he can replace Gabriel if he's not consistent.

Gabriel & saliba for cb , can also play lb push timber rb or cdm converting and Ben white should be going under the needle for his knee and with injuries likely to happen to tomi timber and Ben white out perfect signing the quality don’t drop and bye bye zinny & kiwior
