Final day of the AMG Driving Academy Race Camp. This is me in an GT3 which is an aero-downforce car. You will see me playing around with lifting the brakes off earlier so that I can let the downforce keep the car on the road along with the corner speed -- and sometimes missing the apex such as turn 5 (curva Angel Nieto). The lap time was 1:38.

The sim track has a few discrepancies. Length of some straights and how long some of the corners are or aren't.

I guess you mean ACC track. In that case your wrong because the track is laser scanned so it is accurate

Although I missed my chance to race at Portimao due to Covid, there is not a lot of elevation gain at Richardo Tormo. It is a good track to learn how to race. I would love to come back here on my superbike (BMW S1000RR).
