I'd love to see an episode where they give two producers the same exact records to sample and see how their creativity differs by looking at their process and their different results. I think that'd be beautiful.

That was so different from most episodes. He basically just used the sample(s) as the backdrop and really made the beat come alive to match his style. Incredible.

Produces and mixed/ masters / sings/ raps. Does it all because he loves to do it all and I thank him for being true to himself a role model to all those to stay true to your passion.

while I think big krit is cool once again.. most artist don't make their own beats.. araab is light years ahead of him as far as beat making... araab can probably make 20 beats in 30 mins or less... I've seen and heard plenty of beat makers thru out the years and I've never seen anyone know that mp like he does. ... most of his beats and samples are crack... that beat that big krit made was aight I guess nothing complicated

But Banner (as part of Crooked Lettaz) was label mates with Big Pun and Noreaga so he's had ample opportunity to build a catalog along with his solo stuff. Grey Skies and Firewater Boyz along with MTA 1 are Banner's best projects. After MTA 2, Banner's remaining projects have been mediocre at best. Maybe this transformation Banner has gone through the past couple of years that help him catalog wise (God Box) but KRIT went through the same struggle (only his hometown station in Meridian played his music (same thing in my situation)) before signing with Def Jam and had the same label restraints as Banner (probably more with all the samples KRIT uses) and still dropped two good albums.
