i'm always so curious about how you make the minigames, like do you make them from 100% scratch? do you decompile the rhythm heaven games to see the scripts and all?

They do it from scratch, but sometimes having parts of the old games or free moving cameras can help with emulating them. (Source: I lurk in the HS discord)

That Space Soccer into Catchy Tune is *cruel.* There's no way to know if it's gonna be on the left or right in that transition and you don't give any time to react to it. And then that double time segment? It's downright unplayable.

You don't need any time to react to it. You were going to press A anyway from Space Soccer. This kind of fake-out transition isn't new.

@@khyen yep, a fake out transition from Space Soccer to Lockstep (when the ball is *just* about to land on your input, it switches to lockstep) that transition works pretty well since they're controlled basically the same way for the most part (pressing on beat, keeping the beat)

This remix is fancy to look at, but impossible and unfair to play. Here are some reasons why: - The Music to sound effect-balance is terrible, Audio cues are easily over heard. - In the rhythm tweezers segment, no human can mash that fast. - Generally, there’s some mashup parts. Not a good combo when it’s supposed to be rhythmic. - Space Soccer to Catchy tune is cruel - I don’t have to mention the Working dough and Crop Stomp segments, right? Anyways, heaven Studio is looking great! The remix playability has nothing to with the awesomeness of the software

1- wdym The balance is good 2- Just alternate between the d-pad and A buttons (rhythm tweezers 2 has faster mashing sections) 3-what do you mean by that 4- space soccer to catchy tune is exacly like remix 5 on The ds Where You have space soccer into lockstep 5- what's wrong with tem?

It was a typo 4 - I had just overheard the queue for catchy tune the first time 5 - The Crop stomp segments (especially when not knowing the remix beforehand) are incredibly fast and come unexpected. The working dough part is fine looking back, actually.

really good remix! a few problems i have are that the crop stomp part because its a bit spammy/repetetive(?) the coin toss is a bit hard to count because of no obvious metrome the triple tap at karate joe, not really authentic imo (OPINON) some timings i generally disagree with and like one blind stop at the last space soccer part 67 // But still just *OK* ...
