I STARTED TEARING UP DURING THIS BOSS FIGHT IT WAS *SO* AWESOME It’s amazing how much you can feel for a character who sounded much like the politician from before. Every line of dialogue got me so invested in Lucky as a character.

This stage was the best audiovisual experience I had during this whole year, period. The team really went far and beyond on this stage not only with the song but with details like at the start of the stage the window moving clockwise to show the pass of time or Lucky going from the "player" sprite to the "patient" sprite to show that he finally accepted his situation and many others I probably missed. I can't personally thank you people enough for this update, wish I could buy this game twice on the same steam account, but buying it for my friends shall do the trick I hope.

From my experience with SFML (This game was on Unity so might have been easier), the thing with window stretching and moving wouldn't be hard. Maybe just a bit tedious with having to move the camera in a way that it would seamlessly stretch the window, but not necessarily hard. Essentially, in SFML terms, it's just changing the window size, window position, the view (camera) size and view position to create both stretching and moving. Though, really, does it matter whether it was hard or not? It was used in the most creative way ever, to make some of the best effects I've seen in a videogame, and that entire thing makes this game so unique compared to others

This game won every awards in my heart. Hardest rhythm game ever, most visually stunning VFX ever, most creative gameplay ever, best out-of-bounds experience ever, best original soundtrack ever, etc.. I wouldn't be surprised if this game won every Steam awards, or every awards at "The Game Awards". This is a criminally underrated game- nono. Masterpiece. That I've ever seen in the gaming community.

Lemme tell ya, I yelled "*WHAT?!*" When the screen started to stretch out! I thought you guys had already done all you could with the window, but naaaaaahh!!! Helps that this level and song is peak!!! The hype in the final stretch is unmatched in Rhythm games!!!

2AM. Sitting in my room, playing this game on the dawn of my birthday, struggling with the stage and yet I finally make it through to hear the bit at 4:52 kick in. I felt the lyrics sink their way into me and wash over, the resonance hitting me like a truck and driving such a sense of inspiration into me. This game truly is something to behold, man.

i think this is the peak of rhythm doctor but then again we dont know whats in store for act 6 and beyond absolutely insane work on this act from everyone

The song feel like a story being told with audio alone. But with the game, it adds a new dimemsion to what you're already hearing.

Love how the static that happens at 2:45 is actually following the beat of the next pattern

This song is really amazing. Sometimes it's energetic, while something could be emotional, something could be rough and scared but you know you need to be stable and calm. (especially with the first piano part in the first cutscene that is pretty emotional [I really love that part]). Felt like watching a movie overall. Really great song. Probably one of the most memorable level then, in terms of story and chart, plus emotion and music, and it's even powerful when you are involved in it instead of watching. Great job on this song and the levels.

Fizzd's done an incredible job on composing this and Mardy's vocals really top it off Actually one of the new best songs now 💯💯💯

there it is! the one song we have been waiting for them to upload! amazing level tho, the creativity is off the charts and how the level builds its climax is cool as heck. can't for the future acts

Oh it wasn’t just me? Legitimately I thought it was an intentional part of the sequence until the game closed and I went “hmmmm maybe that wasn’t supposed to happen after all”

Got this game about a week ago and DAMN THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!! I would say that this game became my favorite rhythm game after beating act 5. I’m excited to see how the rest of the game will turn out in the future!

3:25 Is my fave part. That's when I was REALLY rocking my head back and forth

This level exceeded my expectations, I thought it was only windowdance just like All The Times but when the window resized, I literally cried. Best game ever

I didn’t realize this act was literally all just a build up to this FREAKIN FANTASTIC ANIME OPENING STYLE LEVEL OH MY GOD I had very little expectations going into this act to be honest, like I thought you did everything that could be done. And then you guys blew it out of the park. (Hehe) I’ve never felt more happy I went into something blind than this level. ^^

Dont you just love it when a game makes you hit 16 consecutive beats imediently before actually introducing you to the title card? I do.

i love that this game was able to absolutely blow my mind with the moving window twice, still one of the coolest things in any game ive ever played

i love the “the air is still… *clap clap clap* there is no peace inside this place” line! love to the people who make the songs :)

my volume reaches UNFATHOMABLE levels when this comes on 🙏 literally can not play this level without singing along to lucky and the nurse's cues as well as bouncing up and down to the beat lol this act really brought the game from a banger to a whole-ass bucket-list item

this level and song, as well as lucky's general story, really spoke to me as someone whose physical disability recently got to the point where i can't really function normally anymore. his fans not understanding really spoke to the outside perspectives people have when a disability invisible, and him accepting that things will be different, not worse but different, and finding something new to fulfill himself in coaching is really inspirational and gives me a lot of hope and determination to find good in a life that has changed irreparably and accept that i have new limitations

This was a treat to experience with the window stretching. It really felt like an evolution to All the Times and I was loving it. Of course the song itself is great too. I ended up not skipping the last cutscene a few times while going for perfect so I can hear all of the lyrics at 4:53 in full. The way the music swells with it gets me pumped. Thank you 7th Beat Games for your hard work. It definitely paid off and was worth the wait :V

I honestly cried at this song. All the effects, the mechanics, the music, the backstory ... Everything falls into place. It is so well done. And the game is still not finished yet. I cant wait until the other acts are revealed

I cannot believe I can say Welcome to The Black Parade inspired a Rhythm Doctor song that actually explains why the final vocals reminded me of MCR (Mardy killed it thank you so much) Regardless the wait was so worth it, thank you so much Fizzd for pouring your heart out to this song and I am grateful for everyone else that helped along the way

My first time on Rhythm Doctor's boss stages will be unforgettable, and are and will remain one of my most memorable video game experiences. This music has been following me ever since I first heard it, it's just incredible. I know Rhythm Heaven (Tengoku) is the inspiration for the gameplay, but the mood of this song has some Elite Beat Agents vibes as well. :D (also holy crap 7BG you went above and beyond with this content)

after failing my first go, I just knew I had to stand up for this, and so I propped my laptop with what I had on hand and had an impromptu dance session beating the level, unique and delightful experience for sure

Potentially the first musical-like rhythm game level with an in-level nightmare sequence I’ve seen. Never thought I’d say those words in that order, but here we are I guess… man, this game is something else!

My heart was pounding so hard while playing this game that I ended up giving the game over several times. It's very rare to feel out of breath while playing a game. The directing of this game is superb.

Wonderful music, and probably my new favorite level!! When window started stretching a bit (2:00), I was like "huh, isn't it streching", and when it became freaking square, and then started to goo all over the place... maaan, I smiled sooooo much at this part :DD It was so wonderful to experience!! Also, is it just me, or is the gimmick at 1:20 and 5:22 (when you hit at all the beats, not just offbeats) sooo satisfying to hit? Haha

This is my favorite level in video games. I've been at it for thirteen years now, and even among Hi-Fi RUSH, HITMAN, or anything Valve has created, this was the best individual level in any game I've ever played. But seriously - you said it was a challenge to live up to 2-X's reputation, so how are you going to top this? I take it back. I don't want to know the answer. I'm just excited for the finale.
