Incrível como a Rodésia conseguiu resistir bastante a essa guerra por anos mesmo não tendo reconhecimento nem da coroa britânica, quanto mais globalmente e tendo sofrido embargos e sanções econômicas, eles praticamente lutaram de formas isolada, só tinha Portugal e a África do Sul para receber armamentos de forma improvisada.

Provavelmente devido às experiências dos rodesianos. A emergência malaia na década de 50 deve ter sido uma grande lição pra casos como a guerra civil deles, visto que foi uma guerra irregular tbm. Além do mais, isso dessa extensão ocorreu também com os tugas e os sul africanos com meio milhão de nações embargando eles e praticamente lutando sozinhos.

Sem tirar valor aos combatentes rodesianos, depois da retirada precipitada da tropa portuguesa, a Rodesia só aguentou quatro anos mais, apesar do apoio aéreo sul africano. Portugal era sem dúvida o muro de contenção e os rodesianos nunca souberam reconhecer isso. Ao contrário, em muitos livros que escreveram, chegam ao cúmulo de chamar aos portugueses “incompetentes e inúteis”, um país que lutou em 3 frentes, sozinho, sem ajuda externa, mais de uma década. Repito, os rodesianos eram bons, tanto a lutar como a contar bazófias.

Rhodesia 65-79? We had the last kill around March 80 in the Nuanetsi Area...so I would say Rhodesia 65-80 (I got disbanded 1th of June 1980).

@@Of44llen_298 21. Dec 1979 Ceasefire. The gooks moved into the Assembly Points. Armed CTs outside were considered as bandits and shot....the Terrs left some guys "behind" to controll the locals. Especially in the "border" regions along Matabeleland and Mashonaland (ZIPRA/Nkomo and Zanla/Mugabe) were you had a mixed population between Ndebele and Shonas. Never made it to Brasil.....stayed for some month in Ascunion/Paraguay.....we exported used tyres and had there a shop (Supermercado de los Neumaticos usadas Alemannes)

RSAS learned from us. Only real friend Rhodesia has was 2REP and they were not loyal to France. A history you don’t know. They didn’t like how low we jumped. Took time.
