I bought an orange one of these (in Canada) when they first came out. I want to love this pencil, I really do. It looks slick...but the plastic internals and the fact mine rattles quite a bit (glad to hear I'm not the only one to experience this!) when I'm writing with it drives me nuts. It feels like a cheap pencil inside a nice case. Rhodia should stick to what they do best - notebooks. I paid about the same amount for this pencil as I did for a Pentel Kerry (it was cheaper then) and if given the choice again, I'd take a Kerry every time.

Penyel Kerry is by far the best,most precise mechanical pencil,designed for edc and writing. Rhodia which has zero experience with mechanical pencils,can not be better,not even close. Kerry is made from Pentel in Japan,with watchmakers precision. Can't be beat,will never be.

Great to see you take time from your busy schedule to do this review. I love Rhodia pads. It’s nice to see a mechanical pencil by rhodia Edit: after seeing the rest of the video I do have to say the rattle is very disturbing.

Like a couple other folks here, I have mine in Orange too. I like the feeling, it's also quite lightweight. I don't use it that much, but I'm so happy to have something that doesn't look cheap (compared to all the other plastic pencils I have) and it has that great pop of color.

I still like mine. Orange. Can't remember where I got it from, I am about 45% sure it was Jet Pens. I didn't notice the rattle until after you mentioned it, found it, didn't do anything about it. if the eraser cap was a gnats ass thicker, it would be fine (except then the knocking would grind).

Would rather have a good interior with brass and steel components

how does this compare to rotring 600 if you had to say ?

Rotring 600 has plastic threads in the same place. But looks like Rotring is a bit harder plastic.

Do you plan on reviewing the Spoke 6 anytime soon?

Wasn't impressed with this when I saw it. Just saw the multipen version of this, It looks pretty nice. Haven't seen it up close though.

Im confused about your VAT comment, in all EU countries + the UK, VAT is included in the price, even if goods are sold abroad, you still pay VAT regardless, The only people who don't count vat are VAT registered businesses. But even then it doesn't transcend market boundaries, UK companies buying from France still pay VAT(TVA) in France, and vice versa.

It is entirely possible the regulations have changed since my last purchase, which was pre-Brexit. The last time I ordered from CultPens, they subtracted VAT from every purchase before I paid.
