This is such an informative video, really highlights the songs in their own way but also proves that there was a stylistic change between the pre and post izone disbandment sound. Notice how the LIMELIGHT and TripleS Evolution songs sound more like demos, because the productions sound completed yet the percussions and overall drum sets sound much "lesser" than Fiesta. I wonder if this is how IZ*ONE title tracks would sound like in 2023 if they never disbanded. On a side note, I really wish there was a fixed group to continue this "sparkly electropop" sound. Lightsum had huge potential to continue this with Vivace but unfortunately they didn't. WJSN and GWSN were up there but if we are talking about new gen groups, I really wish Kep1er continued this legacy but unfortunately their sound direction is... not impressive to say the least. If there is any group to continue this sound, LIMELIGHT is the safest bet. I will add that we can sometimes hear this type of sound pop up rarely, actually gonna list these below if anyone reads this comment and wants to find out similar songs: 1. IZ*ONE's discography 2. @@hk5322 I think it is fine. Since its the same producer, it makes sense why it sounds the same. I think if you reframe your perspective from thinking Rhodanthe is a copy of Fiesta to thinking that they are songs from the same producer with the same style, then you can enjoy it.

This producer is shameless unlike the other songs Rhodanthe is literally Fiesta if it had a part 2‼️‼️‼️ he must’ve really liked the way the song turned out 😭😭😭

Rhodanthe also follows the flower theme of the izone title track names, I guess the producer didn't want it wasted cuz rhodanthe is likely just rejected by izone's company cuz fiesta is a more "catchy" title than rhodanthe

Rhodanthe and Fiesta are like Twins, Starlight and Blanc Noir are also twins and all of them are siblings, its a shame cuz Rhodanthe have the same Single vibes as Fiesta and Starlight, but at least it saw the light of the day, the only thing that bothers me its that Blanc Noir for Limelight as their second EP when starling was lead for their first was kinda...i can't help but hear it like a remix, and these are kind of songs that are really great but 1 its like enought for a group Edit: Limelight also got Crystal which is from the same producers and it's less similar but still sounds alike

Starlight released with their first pre-debut EP Limelight, as a title track, while Blanc Noir was the B-side for their debut EP Love & Happiness. I loved how they changed the sounds while still being familiar, Limelight - EP - served as a good introduction

@@Unknown-jg4uqtechnically. Rhodante was in line to be a title track for ot10 triples. Rising was what won. The candidates were: A- Rhodante, B- Rising, C- New Look, D- unknown and unreleased but it’s a Latin pop song, E- Beam, F- Invincible, G and H are also unknown and unreleased but H was said to sound like mago by many wavs. And yes it could’ve been touched up more but the choice was made by fans in the first week of December, recorded by the girls later that same month, filmed mv in January, and released in February. So it’s safe to say all songs A-H were fully produced and basically ready to go, especially A as it was the only song to not have the lyrics changed.

@@nakynaki fascinating. They probably chose it not because rhodanthe was not title track worthy but for how controversial it could be. It is really smilar to Violeta and Fiesta and Wizones who missed Izone might not take it very well. Not all of us can think clearly so it's just a risk

this reminds me of when i first heard limelight and how similar it was to izone's stuff. i was pretty excited when i learned it was the same team that also did the izone songs. however, they have released other songs that have their own feel to them and now i like those more.

I didn't even notice that Limelight's songs are similar until ppl pointed that out in Rhodanthe comment section (Limelight comment section is pretty calm), they did a really good job differentiating Limelight and IZ*ONE style

yeahhh, the sparkly twinkly kinda song 😂 no wonder izone's debut was a massive hit even for a mnet survival group, it sounded new (not general cutesy or leaning more to ethereal like lovelyz or ohmygirl) at the time everyone was basically scrambling for girl crush, i do wish lightsum uses more sound like these, if izone make it like dainty but elegant, theirs feel like rebel type but still elegant, imagine concept of vivace + alive...

@@naiz_kikoyeah and I think it truly fit members like wonyoung and yujin, who were young at the time it was a great youthful, ethereal, flower girl concept that rlly allowed wony to shine but not in an odd light. Her whole vibe really captured the essence of the group and allowed her to blossom into concept master that she is today. As much as I hate Mnet, I must admit that they choose good concepts for their groups to debut with (a bit of a falter with Kep1er but everyone else seems to have a solid theme that fit them).

This could’ve been what Rising was this February as it was in the lineup but was the first to be eliminated (in rounds of 1 v 1). @@salemoninit’s not rejected, it’s likely an earlier draft of the song though. blanc noir, starlight, and crystal all share some similarities but they also have different parts, whereas rhodanthe is basically a more bare fiesta throughout.

Blanc Noir is Fiesta + D-D-Dance. I kinda hear d-d-dance intro in it.

This is why I think that the song build is like izone but the delivery is like limelight (lots of high notes and not all that well blended).
