Hilux Vigo Dual Cab Rhino Cab Extreme Alu Canopy - SR and SR5
$4,250.00 - $5,900.00 rrp
The Hilux Vigo Dual Cab Rhino Cab Extreme Alu Canopy for the SR (J-Deck) and SR5 (A-Deck) tubs is made from high grade aluminium and has a unique design providing high strength and a very low weight for a canopy of this size (approx 69Kg). Manufactured using the latest in CNC machines and CAD technology, with welding done in a zero tolerance jig in order to ensure no deforming takes place during welding, the Hilux Vigo Dual Cab Rhino Cab Extreme Alu Canopy is seriously tough. As you can see from the video below, the Rhino Cab Extreme Alu canopies are incredibly strong. In our destruction test, a standard dual cab canopy withstood over 7 tonnes of weight on the roof. We offer a conditional lifetime warranty, details of which can be viewed here.
Modular optional accessories such as the Side Door Sliding Side Windows, Drop Down Internal Camping Table, Heavy Duty Load Bars, Canopy Side Shelf-Half Unit , the Canopy Storage Organiser or the Bush Cook Six Piece Dining Set, are available for this canopy and makes it an integral part of your camping or touring set up. The canopy comes as standard with aluminium rails for easy fitment of a roof rack, rooftop tent or any other accessories. Ideal for the 4 x 4 enthusiast who would like to fit all the bells and whistles over time.

mate, that's a great comprehensive review, just one question, how do those doors handle rain water run off, kind of looks like the run off would go inside the tub. Cheers

Hi Jason, It was actually no issues, they’ve designed along the hinge section as kind of like a gutter so you can stand under the door and the water runs off to the door edge, I didn’t find any run off into the tub.

Hey mate love your review just one question, would you need to fit out a rear tailgate lock or when you close the rear canopy door locks the tailgate drop opening ?

You could fit a lock, however the back window has a sill that closes on the tailgate so if the back window is locked you can’t open the tailgate

Curious to how hot it gets in there. In regards to keeping your fridge in there and it being able to stay at temp.

I didn’t just go to Moreton island for 5 days with a fridge and solar (check out the Moreton Vid dropping soon). It’s was 34+ degrees and we were on the western side so afternoon sun and heat we couldn’t get away from. It’s gets a bit stuffy with the doors closed but the big full length doors opened it was actually where we hung out with a good breeze come through. Fridge struggled a bit but I don’t think the canopy made it worse, I haven’t dealt with condensation yet so that will be the test, I was thinking of carpeting inside anyway (doors, lid), so that would give it some insulation
