A brave man! I think it was Frank Tallman who said the early planes flew, but only just. The wonder is that they flew at all. Thanks to the reconstructors who make it possible for us to see the early aircraft fly, thank to Old Rhinebeck airdrome, and thanks for posting this video.

All the old airplanes and replicas are handled the same way at Rhinebeck. The plane first makes a taxi pass for the audience. Then there are ground handlers at the end of the runway that help turn the plane around for its takeoff run and flyby.

I've got to visit this beautiful little aerdrome .looks incredible plus the aircraft variations . It's a little like our Shuttleworth collection at old warden Bedfordshire england . A must visit if your coming from the states. Plus the air shows we have at old warden . But the Rhinebeck aerodrome looks so good .
