I discovered Rhiannon Giddon’s music at a very sad time in my life, just after my mother and brother died and two friends committed suicide. I was heartbroken. Rhiannon’s music lifted my heart so much and made me cry with happiness and in sorrow. My tears flowed. My heart began to heal. Eternally grateful. A few years ago I saw her live and it was a beautiful experience. Much love and blessings to you always Rhiannon.

My God, how can it be that I am just hearing this for the first time. No words.

I'm discovering Rhiannon Giddon's music now, and I'm in a great place in life. I'm not married and have no children, but I have my mother, my three younger brothers, one sister in law, a nephew, numerous Aunts, a few Uncles, and lots of Cousins on both sides of my family. I have a job that I enjoy, and I am very sociable with people. This music sounds different from what I usually listen to, but my musical tastes are getting more versatile the older I get. I am 45 born in 1979 and I have always liked different kinds and styles of music!

My chocolate gumdrop every time she sings I get goosebumps, I'm a proud black man with beautiful 6 year old twin boys. It's a pure joy to listen to Rhiannon Giddens, to hear her voice is like having liquid velvet poured into your ears.

I had the pleasure of mixing her and Francesco at Big Ears in Knoxville, TN this past weekend. I could not keep my goosebumps down while mixing their set. Absolutely one of the best musical experiences of my life!!!!!

Rhiannon is not just a talented and gifted musician, singer and song writer but a teacher of historical roots regarding ancient Appalachian music in America, she brings that history to live through this music, every American, especially African Americans need to learn from this amazing cultured woman, the minute she said she felt connected with the banjo without her having the knowledge she has now about it, it was no coincidence that at the time it was her ancient african deceased ancestors transmitting that spiritual connection to her, she is definitely a chosen pioneer by her african ancestors to convey their ancient soul in a modern inspiration of the american bluegrass banjo, this is why her talent is at another level, the gifted essence of her soul is majestically haunting through the ghostly guidance of her ancestors, you can feel it

Powerful piece of music. That drum of Francesco's is the best accompanying percussive instrument I've heard in ages. Top stuff.

Wow! Rock R&B And Country joined back together by their common roots. Simply glorious.

My sister died a few months back of cancer. We were still praying, expecting for her healing when she died around 9:50 p.m. We immediately went into "raise the dead" mode, going at it with ferver. Heal the sick, raise the dead command.... After 10 or 15 minutes, my wife got a text from my ma 120 miles away. "I'm on my way." is all it said. 10-ish at night? Called ma, but no answer. She was in bed asleep. Didn't even know my sister had died. It took another half hour for the HOLY SPIRIT to get it through our heads that she was "on her way" to Heaven. She sent that text. Thx JESUS for the Word of Wisdom!!! PTL!! RANDY S.

Rhiannon introduced me to "Roots" music a few years ago and I fell in live with the music. Then I started playing Red Dead Redemption 2, and said wait a minute , I know who that is. Wonderful.

Mesmerizing. The music is, of course, awesome, but it's her voice that takes this to the next level.

I was surprised many years ago that black people had put together square dancing and music. I took a class or two in college and enjoyed it very much. Once I got to the history I enjoyed even more. I first seen Rhiannon on the Ken Burns documentary. Watched it every chance I got hoping to see her again.
