Thanks for this, Chiara. New life for a great song from the 70s. I know you like to rock out, but when you do these ballads, it's something special--a natural depth of emotion--whether it's in English or Hungarian! I prefer your intonation and vibrato to Stevie's.

I agree- it’s like the Karen Carpenter situation where the slower and lower songs struck a cord with her fans - it sounded soft and velvety - Karen got sick of singing like that and made an album that was faster with higher pitches in her voice and it did not do well- people wondered where’s our Karen Carpenter that we are used to so she went back to what people wanted. I think these are the different dichotomies that arise as you are shaping yourself within the public spectrum.

I was with Bob Taylor when he built his first guitar. It was actually a banjo. I'm a drummer and we had a band before I went to Vietnam. I look at your guitars and know as a drummer that when you change your strings, you need to thoroughly clean your fretboard! They are filthy! I see you own one of Bob's guitars. He'd be hurt if he saw you didn't clean your boards. You are very versatile and talented. So clean your equipment. Much love from Sa Diego. Bob and I still live here. His factory is in El Cajon. A suburb of SD. He's old like me, so he sold Taylor Guitars to his employees. That's the kind of guy Bob is. Godly man with a great heart. Safe travels sweetheart.....

@@eamonnclabby7067, Good day to you, Sir. Yes in deed, my jaw is fine now.😊 Chiara is just such an amazing guitar player that I often find it slack and agape, even after all this time. To be honest, I was at the original concert when Fleetwood Mac was on tour for this album in 1977, and I think I would rather see Chiara in concert! That’s how highly I think of her. I hope all is well with you at your end as well, and you’re keeping warm and healthy on your peninsula.

Why would someone pick on a hospital like that, especially when it’s women and children? Terrible. The taxi driver was lucky. I have an internet friend in Liverpool. Stevie Nicks schrieb diesen wunderbaren Song schon 1976 noch bevor sie bei Fleetwood Mac zu singen begann, es war sozusagen ihr Geschenk an die Band. Allerdings weicht der ursprüngliche Song von dem ab, der später auf dem Album 'Fleetwood Mac' erschien. Stevie Nicks hatte den Namen 'Rhiannon', der aus der keltischen Mythologie stammt, in einer Geschichte während eines Fluges gelesen und beschloss, einen Song über ein junges Mädchen zu schreiben, das den Namen Rhiannon trägt. - Wenn jemand diesen Song so wunderbar covern kann wie wir ihn hier hören, dann kann es nur Chiara sein! Mit ihrer himmlisch schönen Stimme und ihrer unvergleichlichen Art und Weise, Songs zu covern, dabei ganz nah am Original zu bleiben, aber dennoch ihren eigenen Stil einzubringen hat Chiara auch diesen Song wieder einmal in traumhaft schöner Weise uns zu Gehör gebracht! Im Augenblick passiert es mir öfters. Ich sitze vor dem PC, bin vom gerade Erlebten beeindruckt und möchte dies in Worte fassen. Doch alles, was mir durch den Kopf geht, ist irgendwie kitschig, klingt abgedroschen oder strotzt vor Phrasen, als hätte ich was mit Politik am Hut. In solchen Augenblicken bin ich dann immer wieder froh, Norbert-Tristan in den Kommentaren zu finden. Danke, für schon etliche Male, in denen Du so luftige Löcher in das Brett bohrst, dass mir zuweilen den Ausblick doch arg einschänkt, dass ich mich Deinen Ausführungen vollumfänglich anschließen möchte. 😏

Sie macht das ja immer mit einer Hingabe und Präzision, da kann man gar nicht anders als auch mal etwas 'blumig' zu schreiben. Da ich obendrein den wunderbaren Vorteil habe, sie persönlich zu kennen, ist es noch ein wenig einfacher, ihre Arbeit zu kommentieren. Und wenn es um Fleetwood Mac geht, die einer meiner absoluten Favoriten sind, da klingeln bei mir sowieso alle Glocken... 😉

Perhaps Stevie Nicks can retire now, and leave the stage to Chiara. Then in 50 years time we can talk about Chiaras retirement. Sorry Chiara, but we're not letting you get away.

There is something wrong with KZread's random selections. It's a more than obvious flaw when one sees the low number of view for Chiara, who should be getting hundreds of thousands of views when compared to so many others with much less talent. I'll keep my fingers crossed that KZread corrects their algorithm.

Although I really like Chiara, I feel like your comment is disrespectful to Ms. Stevie Nicks and Ms. Christine McVie, whose all-time harmony is unsurpassed. Still, Chiara does a great job of capturing the 'middle' between those voices.
