I teared up when she said "I'm alive" as well. She was high up in the sky, in a stadium full of thousands of people, carrying life in her and at the height of her business success 🙌🏼 It was just a culmination of years of hard work to get to that point. She was really ALIVE at that point 👌🏾

Spot on dude, rihanna is a big ol vibe, mood, but her island girl swag is uniquely Rihanna, less is more, everything was on point, laid back but entertaining, not dull at all. This entire 1/2 show was ri ri show. Love watching the footage from fans all over whom were there and uploaded it. I've watched so many different angles and versions which is something I never ever did with any sb half before this. I listen with my head phones while watching TV. OMG the quality of music man I appreciate! Loved it

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire performance. I cried at the end as well. It really felt that even though she hasn't put out new music she chose passion projects and started a family and chose to be happy. "When you hold me" and she held her baby bump it was a powerful message that her partner and her child soon to be children "make her feel alive." She is a 👑 , an icon and a visionary. She goes all in with everything she does. The logistics, producing, engineering and choreography was truly top tier. I couldn't have asked for more. She nailed it.

You explain it so well. Even though she wasn't moving much... it's about her swag and attitude the whole time. Also her dance moves are always Caribbean.. love her

I've watched her performance over and over again. It's just amazing! And about the people complaining about her "not doing much". Well, first of all they're wrong. But can you imagine those same people if she danced her a$$ off? "She's pregnant! Why would she do that?! That's so dangerous!"

I enjoyed watching your reaction. It was so genuine and spot on in every way! My own observation is that it seems like alot of narcissistic people or people who lack the ability to be authentic and "feel" did not enjoy this performance. Those humans who have the capability to feel emotions and understand them truly enjoyed her performance. Just my observation.

True, i did enjoyed her performance to be honest, i dont even listen to her music and not a bigfan of her my sister does and always played her music in the backround when i was young , and when i heard her performance last week i was stunned all the memories hearing these music when i was young flashback crazy. I have to say that my initial reaction WAS that she wasn't moving much, and that she didn't seem to want to be there, and that maybe she was just working with the backing track. THEN I saw that she was pregnant, and quite pregnant. I don't know that she anticipated having the Superbowl and a pregnancy at the same time, and, like you, I was cringing at her up on those platforms, even tied in, but the shock waves across the internet were maybe something she planned for- it certainly spiked her streaming for her new music, and the music she was using for the Superbowl. The woman has attitude- and balance, and nerve- to be strapped in, even standing basically still on those moving platforms--NOT pregnant would be challenging. One wrong move...... It was a great performance, and you are right, everything has gotten so divided- people were going to like it or not like it, and I don't think she cared one bit. She is a billionaire, has 2 kids, a man who loves her, and from all appearances, seems to be doing well. We all have haters, the key is not to google yourself, lol- nice reaction-SDK

no not like that. I love Rihanna and her music from S.O.S to 2016. Objectively, honest, it was minimalist and unexpected for a Super Bowl show. To me she could've been sitting throughout considering her baby bump and recently having a child but her scenery could've had some changes in my opinion. At least a video playing her music videos when she was singing her medley.

I like your reviews. You are very articulate and thorough. For the haters we have to keep in mind she is very pregnant probably 6 months. Singing and having to control your breathing when pregnant Is not easy. Keep in mind she has not performed live in 7 years. Most pregnant women that far along cant even get off the couch, and there she is performing and having to balance on those moving platforms. The dancers were so incredible too. I loved this performance ❤ she performed 12 songs by herself. No other artists to distract the performance 😊
