The south is almost gone from Rhett, but the exact opposite can be said for Link. At the start of the video he has no accent, but as the video goes on his accent gradually comes out, if he's in pain his accent comes out much faster. Even without these conditions he always has a slight southern way of saying spesific words and he still always has a southern manner way of speaking like when he says 'smell of it' or him being more prone to say things like 'y'all' or 'dang'. Even his dang sound like a 'dahng'.

That vocal shudder on the “what” at 5:47 always gets me.

Link's impressions are underrated. And yes his Larry the Cable guy, his dad, and Ross Perot are all basically the same voice.

It is a great impression of the character Mr. Haney (actor Pat Buttram) from the 1960's Green Acres tv show. Pat was originally from Alabama. The voice he used on that show was his natural accent. He also was the voice actor for the Sheriff of Nottingham (wolf) in the Disney animation Robin Hood. He was a down to earth guy and had a ton of roles playing the "sidekick" in old westerns. He passed back in 1994 at the age of 78.
