Rhapsody in Blues, composed by Gershwin, was originally composed for an orchestra and a piano soloist.
This is a version arranged by Larry Adler, one of the greatest harmonica player, for one harmonica and a piano. Played by Ho Cheuk Yin, a young harmonica player, and Chan Shek Lun, pianist, from Hong Kong.

Leo is a nineteen-year-old emerging chromatic harmonica virtuoso player, who has accumulated 17 international championships since 2006. In 2012, he has swept the board by winning champions in 4 categories in the 9th Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival in Malaysia, including the championship in the Elite Solo Open Category. Next year October in the World Harmonica Festival, Leo has made his debut and excelled among all contestants by seizing the championship in the Test Piece Chromatic Harmonica Solo category, which is renowned as the highest honor of chromatic harmonica player. He is also currently the international endorser at the Honher Music.
Under the tuition of Mr. Lee Sheung-ching, Leo has gained exposure to classical harmonica training since 6. However, his performance reveals extraordinary flexibility, ranging from classical, folk, pop, jazz to rock music. In 2010, Leo is invited as a guest performer in the Hong Kong Art Festival with the King's Harmonica Quintet. As the lead player in the Veloz Harmonica Quartet, he has also been invited to perform in Macau, Singapore, Prague, Munich, Ljubljana and Bratislava since 2011. As a soloist, in 2012, Leo was invited to give solo and duo performance at the 25th Anniversary concert series of the Norwegian Harmonica Organization in Norway and received high acclaims. In 2013, meanwhile as a participant, he is invited to perform in the 'Young Chromatic Talents' gala concert and offering workshop in the World Harmonica Festival. Recently in 2014, Leo has participated in a jazz tour in Poland collaborating with the prominent 3-0-3 Tango Fusion Band from Argentina. His energetic and soulful improvisation has gained wide recognition.

卓彥現年十九歲,乃近年半音階口琴界的新星。自2006年起,他總共累積了十七項國際口琴賽事的冠軍寶座。當中包括2012年於第九屆的亞太口琴節越級挑戰, 精英獨奏組的冠軍,及總共四冠一季的佳績。 叧外於2013年十月,何卓彥再次前往德國世界口琴節參賽,勇奪三個項目的冠軍,包括半音階口琴最高殊榮,半音階獨奏指定曲目組別的冠軍,以及公開組二重奏及大合奏的冠軍。他現在亦為Honher Music 的國際代言人之一。
卓彥六歲起先後隨張健寧先生及李尚澄先生習口琴,以古典音樂為基楚。但他演奏的靈活性極高,曲風不限於古典音樂,亦包括爵士音樂,民瑤,搖滾,以至流行音樂。卓彥早於2010年已有幸受邀參與英皇口琴五重奏在香港藝術節的演出,其後亦以VELOZ口琴四重奏主音的身份,以爵士音樂,民瑤及流行音樂,遠赴澳門,新加坡,布拉格,慕尼黑,盧布爾雅那,布拉迪斯拉發等表演,大受好評。叧外他亦於2012年獲邀於那威口琴協會25周年演奏會中以獨奏及二重奏方式演出,其高超的演奏技巧及細膩且有活力的音樂感於是次演奏會中獲得極高評價。而於2013年世界口琴節,他亦同為《Young Chromatic Talents》演奏會中的表演嘉賓。近年,卓彥亦於爵士音樂界大於異彩,剛於2014年6月在波蘭多個城市參與阿根廷著名探哥爵士樂隊3-0-3的巡迴演出。其精湛的即興技巧及舞台上非凡的魅力,為海外觀眾帶來深刻的演出。

    I am amazed. I fell in love with the symphonic version at age 5 when I saw it live in Wichita KS, and I have always wanted to hear it properly "bluesed". Nice work, mate.

    I have spent 2months to totally digest the piece at that level. But this piece is believed to be an amazing piece that will grow with time! From time to time, im playing it better as i experienced more~

    fantastic rendition of this classic tune I'm amazed at your expertise the sound you get from that harmonica is superb greets from Austria lets hope 2021 is an improvement on last year best regards

    umm, personally i believe the last para is the hardest. It is a challenge to play expressively while not playing the music too roughly. The balance and the organization of the piece, especially when it is a piece with combined excerpt, is the more challenging part of the piece.

    You're much too modest. But you didn't tell me how you learned it. Did you learn it from the sheet music? With a teacher? By yourself? By ear?
