I thought that was the 2013 season with his leg? Cause they won the division and lost to Seattle in the wildcard, cause the cowboys won the division in 2014 and the eagles made the wildcard as the 6th seed. RgIII Was basically running on 1 and a half legs in that wildcard game before it finally caved in

McCown was a really good back-up when Cutler was injured that season.

Man, Cutler really went 5-6 with Brandon Marshall, Martellus Bennett, AND Matt Forte smh....even Alshon had a 1,421 yard season.

Year before in 2012, they led the league in turnovers and had a 7-1 record at one point. Then Cutler did Cutler things and they missed the playoffs at 10-6. Instead of firing Lovie Smith, they should’ve fired Cutler and got a decent QB to go with that defense.

I remember this game. It definitely was a good one.

@@Balmighty7 Yep. Snyder chose RG3 over the Shanahans. Biggest mistake he ever made as an owner. Worse than signing Albert Haynesworth. Worse than all the scandals. Shanahan never wanted RG3. He wanted Russell Wilson or Kirk.

Hey this is probably too late, but since the Vikings/Dolphins game is this weekend, maybe you can spotlight the 1994 shootout between them with Warren Moon and Dan Marino. One of the least talked about shootouts between two star quarterbacks. Warren Moon almost witnessed another epic collapse, but held on to get the win :)

Well what can I say I’m a Cowboys fan, my brief memories of RGIII in the NFL are not fond ones haha. With that said, he was the best thing to happen to the organization playing gridiron football in Landover, Maryland since 1991 and they blew it by driving him into the ground. It’s always sad to see a player’s potential and livelihood lost due to injury, especially when it was so avoidable.

the redskins had a such a good name, brand, history, and uniform. really sad what happened to them. i know multiple natives (live in northern minnesota) and they didn’t care whatsoever about the name and didn’t think it was racist at all. Americans have always had a great respect for native american warriors, which is why so much of our history is intertwined with theirs. Hail To The Redskins!

My Mom’s side of the family is from DMV so they all grew up Redskins fans and were pissed about the name change. Definitely sucks that they got rid of the name for nostalgic fan purposes, but we just gotta move on, it’s been three seasons. The name may have gone away but the memories and footage never will….
