I am very new to retro handheld devices and so far its been OK. I bought the Odin 2 Pro, and man, (I had no idea how much learning was involved), then I saw the R36S and a version that came with a 128GB gaming card and a 32GB software card.for 77CAD on Aliexpress. Has a total of 17828 games, (give or take), and I have already changed both the micro SD cards and already scraped Box art, descriptions and Video's and I am so in love with it. I feel having both these devices are good enough since i will getting Emulation Station on my Odin 2 to play alot of the R36S games as well as more newer retro games then what has come with the R36S. I think this, (for me,) is good enough.

Awesome. Sounds a great combo. Yeah. It's certainly a learning curve! But worth it

I really like the shape of the device. Looks really good and ergonomic.

Yeah, I thought it'd be a crampfest but, really, if using the D-pad, it's fine. Still going to do a grip for longer sessions, mind 😅

Is a 9w 5.2v 1.8 amp charger ok Iv only just put my on chagrin for first time less then 2hrs just bit worried now it’s an Amazon charger plug

i can’t seem to find what a “low power” charging brick is. i’m very curious though i don’t want to fry my device :((

Not in the same price range as the R36S though, and not really that much more capable. So I tend to disagree.

See what you mean (given how cheap the R36S has gone) but I'd say 'under £50' (AliExpress) is the same price bracket. And even the stock OS on the RG35XX H plays N64 much better. HDMI out a big plus too.

I like Anbernic, I have the original RG35XX but in Ireland at least the H is 25 euros or more, more expensive on AliExpress. 40 euro on the R36S and nearer 70 for the H. Certainly doesn't detract from what a good device I'm sure the H is though. I have a RG556 on the way (although that's a very different price bracket 😂) Good to see more videos from your channel anyway!
