What I like about this whole retro thing is that theoretically, the games are the same, and the devices will only just get better and better. I ordered mine (purple) and I’m waiting on it to arrive. Have owned a RG351m for ab 6 months give or take thanks to your vids. Is def a solid system. Seriously I could beat somebody to death with this thing XD But seriously I am glad your doing what you do here and I look forward to new content from this channel. I have had to modify my Dpad a bit bc I found I was not able to do diagonals at all bc the parts of the Dpad that make contact with the membrane didnt push the membrane down enough. Without pressing really hard at least. Now that I did my mod it works flawless! Thanks for introducing me to these awesome devices!

I've really fallen in love with RetroArch over the past month or so. A lot of people like to badmouth it but I'm finding it's very powerful and I love how universal it is!

I appreciate that! Their videos tend to be shorter and so I think that they don't get the time to really dive into each device. Especially ETA, that dude puts out a new video like every 12 hours! I started out trying to do quick videos but I soon learned that I shouldn't focus on the length and just cover all the things I would want to know :)

@@flowfactoryinc07 The rg351 is a bit more powerful but it has a screen with aspect ratio of 3:2 instead of 4:3. It also had problems with its wifi and it was removed.

Bought saturday from Amazon Italy. It'll arrive wednesday. I already own an RG 350 and i had a little concern regarding change, to pass to the new model, because of the very low psp quality emulation and the difficult screen size adjustment. But now, thank to your video guides, the time is right to buy One and play to another level. I'm sorry that I can't partecipate to the giveaway, but I can understand that could be expensive to ship out of USA. Thank you man!

@@cloudkaizer7488 ah yes I have the RG351V too. the form factor isn't as comfortable as the wider one though. But you have to own them all 3 at this stage! these are the anbernics masterpieces to date!

Hey amazing content really i love this channel. Used your guide to configure my rg351p firmware and handheld last night and its perfect. Honestly thanks mate amazing. Only one thing I'd like to mention that no reviewer mentions, i predominantly play retro sports games (I know who does?!?!) And every reviewer for these handhelds say that 'ps1 works flawlessly'. I dont see this with some sports games. F1 1999, F1 2000, tiger Woods Pga tour 2 don't work at all. The newer madden games are unplayable due to the draw distance, the controls don't input in ncaa football 2000....there seems to be emulation issues in sports games more than any other genre. Just wanted to mention as the sports genre gets very little love from reviewers really and I love reliving these games on a handheld. Your videos are so clear and informative and entertaining too. My go to channel, thank you!!! 😊😊

Hi Michael, thanks for bringing it to my attention. You're right, I don't play many sports games other than Tecmo Super Bowl, NBA Jam, and Mutant League Football, so I've never experienced that problem!

I just ordered one, really hope to run Dosbox/ Raptor / JazzJackrabbit flawlessly, but Ill try the rest as well :) Im sure i will be visiting your channel and guides frequently :)

I've found that nothing can beat a phone with a decent snapdragon soc + a kishi...and yet I cant stop watching these damn handheld videos and getting tempted.

I really enjoy your vids. I was going to buy an old Gameboy Advance but these emulators are great. I just want to be able to play around with old games from my childhood. Thanks!

@Retro Game Corps Thanks for this insightful review. I'm really loving this handheld, but I'm a bit confused on how to get stuff onto it without WiFi connection... I would guess I could put stuff into an SD and download it, right? I don't have a computer so would I be able to download the apps to to play gen5 and gen6 games this way? Also looking for the links to the set up guides you mentioned. I'm admittedly inept with tech lol so your help would be greatly appreciated.

how do i get the mp3's that come with some Sega cd games to play during gameplay? will i need to compile the files into a bin/cue or iso?

Why is the default Video Mode in Emuelec set to 1080P60Hz? Not sure how it makes sense on a device with 480x240 resolution or does it not really matter what you set there?

I've got an Odroid Go Advance (OGA) running the RRVL image on it and it's awesome and all but I would like dual analog sticks and L2/R2 however I'm not sure there's anything outside of an Anbernic-supplied OS out there for this which would lock it in to older versions of Retroarch and unable to be kept to-to-date with the latest like the OGA is.

Is the OGA-BE the better choice if I don´t really need the right analog stick ? How about the hardware/screen comparsion ? Hello friend👏🏻 a question. On the right input Type C where it appears written OTG/DC. Powered by a C-type connector, it provides a current output of up to 3A. I can use a Turbo charger (for example from Xiaomi) of 3A, or there is a problem with something burning on the board. What would be the recommended amperage for the RG351P? In other notebooks with normal input I used up to 2A. Thanks !!

Hi, so I seem to be a little confused but that's normal. Anyhow, would you know how to emulate the mouse for dos based apps? Just for fun I installed windows 3.0 and windows 3.1 but I have no mouse control

I want to buy this but I'm not very technical minded, will this turn on out of the box and do what your showing it does or will I need to alter or download things etc?

Just got my new RG351P a week ago and was stupidly messing round with the 351Emulec settings/button configuration/ system shutdown ect. Now all the buttons are backwards or not operating at all. Start is now forward. Select is now stroll up. Up on d-pad is how you start a game. Can't get back into the original 351EMULEC settings to reset or fix what was changed. I now can't software shutdown the system. Do you have any ideas/suggestions? Thanks for taking time to read this long message.

I have been playing gba games on a RS97,and notice there's a little bit of input delay compare to playing on the original hardware. Does the RG351P has the same issue?

Any suggestions for a travel case for the RG351P? Do you use a screen protector on your device?

I think 12 months is an easy bet -- we'll see what the future holds, but for now, this device brings me a large amount of joy for only $95 :)

I have a rk2020 and zelda play soo smooth using the emulator MUPEN64PLUS / GLIDE64MK2 on Batocera. Theres a posibility of installing emulators en Emuelec?

Is there a way I can screen record the screen to make youtube video? Maybe an special adapter to send the screen to pc or a plugin I can install that will rec video and save them directly into my sd card. Thanks

Why is it when I try to save into the save state on the ppsspp on my 351p, it shows "fail to save state" error even though i still have more free disk space on my sandisk 128gb micro sd?

Hi I need a bit of advice. I’ve had two of these devices one was a RG280m and now a RG351p and am having charging issues. The RG280m arrived and the battery was stone dead. I Put it on charge with a n ASUS 5v 2a output tablet charger plug (using the cable that came with the device) and was on charge for over 5 hours but wouldn’t switch on at all so I returned it and got a refund. Today the RG351P arrived and it’s been on exactly the same charger plug for over 7 hours and it’s exactly the same and not holding any charge. The device will power on when plugged into the charger but as soon as it’s disconnected the device just dies to a black screen. It’s now connected to an Apple iPad 12w (5.2v 2.4a) chargers to see if that has a better outcome. It seems it could possibly be the charger plug that is the issue. So what is the best charging plug for these Devices ?? Or any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks Joff

So I'm having an issue with my 351p where I add a game to the favorites list and next time I reboot the device, it's not in favorites. I've only noticed this with games under the arcade list, but it might happen with other console games. It's not a size issue with the sd card (I have over 100GB free). The games that won't save, in my case, are "Mighty! Pang" and "Tetris Plus 2". Also I can't figure out how to port pc games like "Shivers", "Monkey Island", and etc. Please help!
