I use a sanded white mix for my spares too. On the retro rg spare, are the labels engraved or are they like imprinted on the actual coverstock? Just curious if the labels wear off if you sand down the retro rg.

You can feel the logos with the tip of your finger nail. It’s very slight, but I don’t think the logo will go anywhere from extreme resurfaces.
They are the same ball! Same coverstock and same core. Just different colors.

Correct. Pigments can have an impact on reaction. In all types of bowling ball coverstocks, including the urethane/poly mix.
How often should they be replaced?

If you don’t mind that it’s a little beat up from throwing a ton, the reaction stays the same. That white Mix literally hasn’t changed, except it no longer has a fresh 360 pad on it. It’s been beat up, dinged up, scratched, etc. Couldn’t tell a difference in performance.
