Every time you mentioned the colour separation, I kept thinking back on my experience with Gunpla from 1981 to 1997. BIG difference in that subject. I'd love to see you review one of those old kits, such as one of the old F-91 Silhouette kits or perhaps the original Dejih kit.

I agree about the painting. Would look great with just a touch of weathering to tone down the white with some dry brushing on the edges. A little detailing work on the weapons etc too. Awesome kit though. Cloak looks great too. Good shadow effects when it is turning.

Yes, Crossbones is my FAVORITE! I just got and assembled the Crossbones MG Gundam X-1 Fully Clothed and it's my 1st model and it won't be my last. Thank's again for another awesome video!

The full cloth mg is a great looking kit, for me it became a plastic grenade after a few months though.

I got one . Its small but very very well detailed and cool gimmicks. It took me 10 hrs to build such small

I really like the fact that this kit has no pre assembled parts and that you have to build the inner frame from scratch

Nice review. And The size of the kit is actually relating to canon as to that point in the U.C timeline mobile suits grew out to even even smaller. From the Gundam F91 time and forward even till Gundam Victory if I remember correctly

I have a tip that might help with sticker that set on a rounded part. Use hair dryer on it until it somewhat flexible.

Also, this kit comes with the RG Unicorn styled closes fists. I believe it’s the same for the RG Nu as well. Glad to see Bandai improved the fists permanently.

This is one of my favorite kit so far too.

For details I suggest pour/fill marker. Gets in to areas and cracks you cant draw in.

if you can, check the inner frame because sometimes it is though to move or is pasted to see if the protector of the feet really don't move

Meli, you should try the RG Zaku II. I've been giving the metal some weld lines (by wiping silver acrylic over the plates), which gives it sort of a rose metallic appearance. I'm then going in to replace the eye with the same custom technique I came up with an HG that had the cycle-tic lens. It involves a foil sticker scrap, markers, E6000, and the lens of a tiny google eye.

You should also build the RG Sazabi and RG Unicorn(i prefer the full armor one)those kits are awesome

BNuts- hmm, that is odd, the legs on mine are tight as a drum. You might want to check the instructions and see if you did everything correctly whilst building the legs and connecting them to the waist section.

rg exia and zgok aswell as well as the zaku are awesome builds

most reviewer never show the inside box pictures from that rg, nice!!! sometimes im badly curious about the pictures inside the box. like the older rg's on one side it features the hg and sd version of the kit, if not the closes one for that rg kit. then on the other side is ms and pg version. good job

I actually trimmed the crest right down to the yellow and placed it directly above the vent as it was placed in the manga

To make this superior: add the Peacock Smasher and Masamune. Wonder if the ones from the HG kits would fit into this one's hands. Usually you can't use an HG's weapons with an RG, though.

RGs are the best detail but are very fragile! My Zaku II tube on leg is a spring and that broke at the joint. Amazing detail and range of motion!

I just compelted the regualr crossbone gundam (with no cloak) and the skull heart steel 7 crossbone. the Gunda builder one, that, AFAIK, is exactly the same as the one from the manga. Do you know if there is a hg version that is not from GB?

So that was the size of a RG sazabi. Looks cool

If you open up the chest piece , you can see the cockpit in there looks cool

Bought myself the 1/100 metal build crossbone X3 its all black and purple with a cool cloak.

nice review, but you forgot to mention that the sword and the pistol can combine to make the Zanbuster rifle.

good like nice kit you have melly and simple.

Building this one right now. Every review mentions the ankle blades being too loose so I doubt it was anything you built wrong.

Over all nice review true the kit is to white it need a bit of grey... On the core booster isn't a missle that is a beam saber... Crossbone gundam are based on space pirate... And if i not mistaken the sword can be combine with other weapon... And the chain grabber isnt connect on the torso it on the front skirts...

Which scale kit do you prefer? I have bigger fingers and have found 1/144 too hard just because the parts are so small.

Definitely cool. Try the Gundam Astray Redframe RG. Beautifully built model. Worth a review.

I finished the MG X Bone not too long ago, will skip on the RG. The MG was already quite good and bigger of course.

I don’t typically build RG, the idea of a preassembled inner frame just sort of turns me off. But I was drooling over this kit yesterday in spite of myself. Will definitely get it when I can spare the cash. 😁👍

Bandai has pretty much abandoned the preassembled frame at this point. They learned a powerful lesson because of the RG Sinanju flop.

Very nice you did a awesome job you have a gift you have a lot of patience to build a Gundam

My other gripe about this kit was the fact that the V fin on the forehead attaches to a peg on the head instead of having a peg on itself

The kit looks good but given the size comparison, it does seem to be a bit smaller than usual. The additional features or "little details" feels like a great touch tho. Great review btw. Kudos.

Just a side note, and adding from your video when you built your diorama, when comparing sizes, look at your box for scale. Each kit has a scale, Gundam kits are known for 1/100 scale and 1/144th scale. The higher the number, the smaller the kit will be. The Master Grade kits tend to be bigger, not sure the scale though. So in the future when introducing the kit, after you intro the name tell the viewers the scale and show it on the box. This will add value to your video, also, you know how big your kit is going to be 😀. Overall you did a great job reviewing the kit, you brought up things you thought were not so easy to deal with and displayed full articulation. Great work, keep it up!

She doesn't need to, it's common knowledge that all modern HG and RG kits are 1/144, and all MG kits are 1/100. She spends a lot of time talking about the Crossbone's size in this video because in-universe, the Crossbone is a really small mobile suit at around 15 metres, compared to RX-78-2's 19 metres (generally the typical size of a Gundam). The Wing is 17 metres and it's already considered pretty small. The model kits scale to their in-universe size. That's why the Crossbone's so tiny even though it's the same scale as other RGs and HGs.
