Infinite Flight is better bruh. This flight looks very pale and the way you climbed after takeoff triggered me the most. Why do you have to spend several minutes maintaining 4000 feet? You’re supposed to climb straight to cruising altitude after takeoff and initial climb (unless vectored by ATC). It’s because RFS gives you unrealistic autogenerated flight plans. There’s even no way to input custom flight plans in RFS that have come from more realistic sources such as SimBrief because the flight plan that RFS autogenerates isn’t realistic. Also, RFS makes you go too slow while climbing and descending; just 230 knots below 10,000' and then it will suddenly make you speed up to 343 knots above 10,000'? A Boeing 777 has a climb profile of 250/310/84 (which means 250 knots below 10,000', 310 knots above 10,000' until transition altitude, and then Mach 0.84 at the transition altitude) (there’s even no way to switch your autothrottle unit to Mach in RFS, it’s just IAS). Infinite Flight has all those realistic procedures (like manual flight plans and more realistic physics) compared to RFS. Infinite Flight also has a more realistic approach where you actually intercept the localizer and glideslope before an automatic landing can be made, whereas in RFS, you just press the APP button and it will land by itself without you doing anything other than setting flaps and the landing gear. RFS feels very automated because it literally almost does everything for you, from flight planning to landing. The autopilot is so automated that you almost do nothing at all and it’s gonna feel like you’re just a passenger. It does everything from takeoff to landing by just activating NAV and its procedures are very unrealistic. In Infinite Flight, the ATC can also give you vectors if needed (either vectors for departure, descent, and approach), depending on the traffic at the airport, otherwise, you’ll be following your flight plan (Infinite Flight is live multiplayer). There is no such thing in RFS and the ATC in RFS also feels very repetitive and not comprehensive. Infinite Flight also has a lot of 3D airports globally. Almost all airports are 3D, with real-life airport, runway, and taxiway layouts. So, if you’re looking for a more realistic flying experience, switch to Infinite Flight. Infinite Flight Pro is $10/month, just a few bucks more expensive than RFS Pro, but it’s definitely worth it. I’ve subscribed to Infinite Flight for 2 months already so far, and I’ve also played RFS before and made several flights before I switched to Infinite Flight, and I’ve realized that Infinite Flight is a lot better.
