Most chronic illness is personal choice from bad diet and bad life styles. The easiest way to fix that would be to ban many of the processed foods, sugars, seeds oils and unnecessary chemicals in food/fertiliser/pesticides/herbicides etc (basically ban mass produced chocolate, cake, cookies, sodas etc make it next to impossible to produce and sell them in the US). Make kids at schools HAVE to run a few miles a week. If a person wants to go on welfare then their BMI has to close to average. No money for lazy fatties that eat and drink too much.

My wallet was stolen in 2016 and I had to go in to get one in order to be allowed onto our local shooting range despite the fact they had a copy of my ID on file. At first the rangemasters tried to deny my paper ID, but after I told them I used it to vote until the state mailed out my replacement card they eventually allowed me in. That's right, I didn't have a physical picture ID from the state and I voted... In Florida no less. I'm 100% positive these places will allow people to vote even without ID. Pennsylvania allowed a man from Ireland to vote despite the fact he admitted he wasn't a citizen in his full lucky charms accent. They said "it's above my pay grade to decide, let them sort it out" and she handed him a blank ballot.

It was also frustrating when Tim was trying to explain the 14th Amendment issue (person vs citizen) to RFK Jr. and he’d never heard the argument before yet he said the legal argument isn’t convincing (even though he didn’t even allow Tim to fully explain the issue). Honestly, I’m mostly just frustrated with this election cycle as a whole. RFK is 100% correct about that critical study of our health epidemics really starting in 1989, there are 13 possible candidates, and we chose to study them we could find out pretty quick which are the biggest culprits. We are intentionally NOT doing that study so that 1) companies can save money by continuing to use toxic chemicals and 2) big pharma can make more money treating chronic disease instead of preventing them. More people need to know about this.

Tim's show is one of the best interview shows out there because he structures it like the sort of conversation you might have in your livingroom over beers or rootbeer floats. He gets a lot more out of them that way and, in this case, RKF Jr. showed himself to be a more or less old-school liberal of the Baby Boom Democrats. The problem with that is he represents the Demoratic Party that had drifted so far left that Ronald Reagan had to become a Republican. Is he better than Biden? Probably. Is he better than Trump? I have doubts and I'm not voting for Trump. Is he better than a sane Libertarian candidate of the Mises Caucus variety? Absolutely NOT!

@@noahblack5620 I consider myself libertarian in a very broad way as I have been around a while and academically explored most of its corners so I understand the different factions arguments. I normally vote L for president and split my lower ticket, but this time I am likely voting RFK as a pragmatic compromise. I have never voted R or D for pres. in the general election, because that would be a useless drop in the ocean (even when I was a convention delegate for a one of the major parties). For a 3rd party, just one percent can make a big difference in publicity and ballot access in future elections. And as we see this year that little "3%" is enough to influence Trump and RFK to adjust more libertarian because the last few elections were that tight. The same tie-breaker roll could be applied to congress with just a few seats. The LP isn't really about getting a presidential candidate elected, nobody there thinks they are going to win the general election. The campaign is mostly about gaining awareness and fostering interest in the concept and party, as well as helping legitamize local LP candiidates (Who do occationally win elections. Inviting candidates from other parties eg Trump and RFK, brings more publicity.) The libertarians as a group are about making a logically consistent platform from first principles, (hense "the party of principle") built on the axiom of non-aggression (You shouldn't attack but can defend.). Normally this entails people finding their own solutions rather than top down one size fits all "Solutions" to problems. This of course leads to lots of healthy debate within the group about exactly where those limits are, definitions, dealing with murky corner cases and so on. Also, a lot of debate around practical strategy, what can be achieved in the short to medium term, the order that things need to be implemented in, and of course where is it acceptable to compromise (picking battles) while still pursuing the fundamental goals. Mostly, in my early political days the LP was a beer and pizza with political conversation every 2nd wednesday of the month (This varies widely by local party group. Feel free to start initiate it)

It's a good point. She doesn't have to "deliver" the live baby. They can take it by C-section. I have a friend who was in a serious car accident and in a coma when she was six months pregnant. The doctors took the baby by C-section when his lungs were ready for birth while his mother was still in a coma. She woke up a couple of days later and, yeah, she has brain damage, but she would have had that regardless if she carried the baby that extra month or not. She's glad her husband refused to let them kill their son. Sometimes babies die in the womb and sometimes labor doesn't naturally occur then. I have another friend who went through that. Eight months pregnant and the baby stopped moving. They "delivered" him by induced labor because she was carrying a corpse. It would have eventually killed her. Techniquely not an abortion, but the doctors did offer her the option of a partial-birth abortion. She chose not to mutilate the child she and her husband had wanted. There are very limited times when abortion is necessary and to save the life of the mother. The rest could be taken care of by C-section and a NIC-U, but they don't use that option because it is rarely ever that the mother's life is REALLY in danger. And if they were really serious about not producing unwanted children they'd actually use contraception the way it is meant to be used. Far too many "unplanned" pregnancies are a result of carelessness. And the women can state they can't "afford" a child, but the truth is usually that they don't want to prioritize their life, including their spending, for a child.

I am pretty much a single issue voter, and that issue is the 2nd Amendment. I spend almost $1,000 on guns and ammo per month, so that I can take new people out and show them how fun all the different aspects of this lifestyle of personal power and self-sufficiency are, which softens them to the idea of gun ownership and more importantly: Self Defense. That being Said, if both houses agree on an extreme, gutting, anti-2A bill, then it's to the point of meeting the requirements for a Constitutional Amendment. What RFK's said is pretty much "If the rest of the country wanted to amend The Constitution, I wouldn't stand in their way.". Everyone getting so pissed at him on the behalf of the 2nd Amendment is embarassing me. The "I wouldn't veto it" statement is the stupidest, least credible thing to ding him on. I was shouting at my screen over Luke saying that quote from RFK is somehow pushing for an "Assault Weapon Ban", and I LOVE Luke! That was idiotic, bordering on a lie from Luke and completely unfair. If I didn't know any better I would say it was in bad faith. I'm not even voting for RFK, because I don't like how close he is with the party of scorched-earth-gun-hate. I'm voting for Trump, who is also completely ignorant and feckless regarding the 2nd amendment. Almost every single Guntuber I watch, hates how crap Trump is on the 2nd Amendment. Just look at what MrGunsNGear, VSO Gun Channel, or Langley Outdoors say about Trump. They absolutely pillory him over not knowing the most basic issues of the 2nd Amendment fight, like what he did on his Bumpstock ban and what he said at that recent NRA event he spoke at this month of May. Suffice to say, criticize those you disagree with through truth, not through misunderstanding them and arguing against accidental strawman issues. RFK is actually, rhetorically, the most gun friendly candidate in the race, as he has said in that original "I wouldn't veto it" quote, something along the lines of "The 2nd Amendment is pretty much impossible to get around, because the language is so absolute.". That's as close to a candidate saying "Shall not be infringed." as we've ever gotten, and it deserves recognition. As an avid pro-gun voter, RFK has spoken like he understands the 2nd Amendment far better than the other 2 frontrunners in this race. The only person who's done better is Vivek, who I adore and is my main reason for supporting Trump.

The mortgage industry is already nationalized. Those companies ARE GOING TO FAIL. It's inevitable. We are going to bail them out, with money we don't have. Again. Like the auto industry. You are watching the destruction of the United States of America, and you don't even know it.

RFK Jr really started to get noticeably peeved when Tim pushed him on the Indigenous Peoples day thing. I am really glad Tim brought that up to counter his previous statement about not getting involved in the 'petty cultural war stuff'. Phil almost lost it when Tim suggested "Then why not say both Columbus day and Indigenous Peoples day in your speech?". It's interesting that of the entire conversation, this was the one topic that made him react in a strong emotional way. Fascinating.

Cause he's a bleeding heart Liberal, at heart. That's what motivated him to tackle environmentalism, and then fight for the underdog alongside the vaccine injured against Big Pharma. His motivations stem from compassion and it overwhelms his reason. Like every Liberal, he thinks he has to fight for the perceived underdog in every "fight". Sometimes that's done him good but, like with most Liberals, it blinds them to the irrefutable facts.

It's the separation of rights from responsibilities. It's all the way back to the 19th amendment when women were given the vote without any corresponding responsibility...which made voting a privilege. Once that precedent was set...it's just been 1 thing after the next. Welfare, citizenship, immigration, abortion, education, Healthcare, etc. It's just 1 thing after the next of "well, this thing is OWED to you as a right...there's nothing you need to do to EARN it."

@michaeloxlong That was the intent of the Progressives all along. Since the mid to late 1800s, they've believed that humans had enough knowledge and expertise to overcome all problems. They've pushed to change our government so that the legislature just sets guidelines and the experts in the executive branch would male the rules. The result is what we have now, with unelected bureaucrats holding more power than the President, and no interest in the benefit of the people of this nation.

Abortion issue is very simple IMHO. The religious and moral argument will not speak to people devoid of those values and vice versa. There's no common ground to be held. Instead of that it should be approached from the angle of accountability. To put it simply, babies aren't happening when there isn't lots of casual sex happening and when preventive measures are being held. Here in the UK your mind would be blown out of your skull if you talked to average teenagers and young adults about anticonception methods and their efficacy. For all the sex education in schools, maybe instead of being talked about sucking dicks and gay sex, they should focus more on birth control education because holy shit, people are so stupid nowadays it's not even funny.

When I was 18, I went to a place like the DMV, gave them two pieces of information with my current address on it, paid $25, and got a state issued non-driver ID. It’s not impossible. Non-driver state IDs do exist. Works the same as a driver license for identification purposes. You just can’t drive with it.

I’m saying that’s a bunch of hooey and any citizen can go and get a state ID regardless of their race. If you can’t spare $25 and a trip to the DMV to get one, then I don’t think racism is what you should be worrying about. I had to prove I was a US citizen to get it so I don’t know what you’re talking about
