Thanks Paul, the software makes these things a hoot.. Just below the designer commented :-) so I better not say anything bad 😂
Great video
Who knows why it is not possible to return the DSP value from FAST to AUTO on the RF Explorer, in the “240-960M” module?
Looks like a digital wet finger to stick in the air as a backup to the spreadsheet.

Great for experimentation with antennas, eg measuring the relative difference between antenna types. the purpose made kit fir ICNIRP compliance is very expensive, the antennas alone are £1k's ... Gaz

@@Martin_Lynch Tell be about it, my last quote for EMC antenna's was close to 25K
So how do you make a calibrated antenna and what is the calibration standard it is measured against? I guess this is way outside the scope of most radio amateurs. Hence the cost of commercially available ones. This limits the usefulness of a £40 licence, just for experimenting.
What is the maximum range of freq. span displayed on the device?
hello,I need a unit to use for scanning 2.4GHZ model aircraft in use at a distance of over 1000 meters. Can you suggest if this work at 1000 meters from flying club, and do they display in the window type of radio brand being used etc. Please include price of unit too. Thanks

Thats a long way, and I cant say for sure how well it could work.. and no it doesn't tell you what brand of radio is being used.. sorry.. you may be better emailing us, support@hamradio.co.uk
Can we monitor below 420MHz?
