Yeah. The only reason he didn't win is cooking really ain't his forte but desserts. If I say, he lost because the concept of the competition he joined but I'd say he chose the right show to make himself known. If he joined desert making competition which isn't aired on national television but like other cooking show, like those cooking show on netflix and etc, he will win but prolly got only a number of audience will know how.

Actually he is not the one who is good at imitation of other dishes. Every time when he does he falls. His own palate is good enough., that he can copy dishes by trusting his own palate

They can't let him win. The final challenge is imitation of a dessert. Too easy for him when Reynold makes better desserts than the stuff he imitates. They also want Reynold to keep coming back for the clicks.

The hugs from the judges is total respect and Reynolds deserves it completely because he puts serious art to the dishes he makes. Extraordinary!

Only Reynold can pull this off. He is truly loved and appreciated by his peers. He is absolutely in a league all his own….

She had that "I'm gonna need a moment" look on her face. When Reynold goes "sweet", nothing else in the universe matters! His savory cooks are amazing, but when he goes sweet. It's over before it even starts.

Reynold created his legacy in MasterChef Australia that every other cook want to follow

In his first season he didn't win but he created masterpieces that are legendary for a guy who was only 20. And he beat a professional chef during the immunity challenge with a perfect score. He went out and became the most famous MasterChef Australia contestant.

Reynolds is a legend… trying one of his deserts is on my bucket list. They’re always beautiful, and always look so delicious! 😋

Favourite show of my mom and I. The judges are the reason we love this show so much. They are so supportive and have a good vibe. No unnecessary drama like masterchef Canada or US

I cried with the group hug....they are flabberghasted. Looking as nonbelievers.

I am very surprised by how talented he is, how devoted he is to the art that he loves and does. I don’t know how others will perceive my opinion, but I think that his creations can be called LOVE for the ARCHITECTURE OF TASTE. It is in the genes of a select few to feel and create beauty, like Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Vivaldi, Chopin and many others whose work is admired by humanity.

Ever since I came across one if his Reynold's masterchef desserts i just cant stop watching them... Its kind of heart warming to see how he takes something small and so blow the judges minds... And on top of that creating this big of a legacy at his age... Its sad that im not in Australia, otherwise would surely place it on my to-do list to visit his restaurant... But for now will have to stay on my bucket list... Reynold is a one of a kind, flavor genius.! Wish his the best future ahead with his passion..! He dont work, he play with foods and flavours for a living😏

You could tell the female judge was really mindblown by Reynold's dessert at the end. She was having such a sweet time recollecting the taste, words are finding troubles escaping from her mouth.

Reynold can easily be a billionaire just by putting a ticket on watching him create those magic things he makes in his kitchen!!! His finesse and passion for doing something innovative is at a level of Picasso making the master piece paintings or Beethoven making those legendary harmonies. He is soon going to be declared the God of sweet things !

Imagine eating at least one of his dessert… heaven.

It's really surprising that despite all this perfect dishes he made, I rarely ever saw him winning immunity & in those stairs above safe somehow

He's amazing. He comes up with his products as if he's been doing it for a long time.

To see they gave a hug to him was just amazing and gave a notion that they had the show for a purpose, and they came to this point when Arnold delivered.

Hail to the KING... come on, one bite and the bloke nearly throws his spoon through the room, the lady god a foodgasm and perfection is on the plate. I now want to move to Australia and get a life time membership to KOI.... Reynold is LEGEND! I hereby bow for the KING OF DESSERTS! /bow

like someone mentioned here.. He already is a master chef in terms of deserts, and his deserts have been compared to Michelin star deserts. And his bro is a masterchef. I think they knew he was gona get clicks and just had him coming back.. Btw these shows like american idol are VERY scripted. For those that dont know he already has a desert bar called koi in sydney. And he makes bank. SO hes good in that sense. Even tho he didnt get master chef. His notoreity and fame he got from this show is gret. Everytime i come back to this channel i love to watch his dishes. He's the one i remember and i dont even watch masterchef. Just checked the website his bar is booked all of october.
