I'm permanently in denial that what we saw in theaters is the true ending. Felt like a slap in the face to Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley for how poorly edited that scene was. As I was editing, there are so many inconsistencies in it. One moment her hand is on his face, next not. The again on his face and then magically on holding tight to his hand. You can also see Rey's jaw moving like she's saying something to Ben as he looks lovingly at her. I don't know what they were thinking of cutting that crucial part out. Or really, what Lucas Films was thinking period with that ending. I see you, you cowards. Killer of joy.

You seriously became my Reylo Queen over the last weeks! One video more stunning than the other and all pure beauty, perfection and art. I could name SO many scenes I love in this video but it would take me forever - the 'dyad in the force' and their hands, the reversed scene where she pulls him up, the perfect match of lyrics along with the scenes, their looks at each other from TFA than TLJ and then TROS and their nod .... and so on and so on. I still watch My Immortal on repeat; I think I have to switch now between that video and this - can't get enough of it! And can I say how epic and on point your description is?! I read that quote from tumblr as well and with every line I read I nodded more vigorously. When I left the cinema the first time I was too shocked by it all, when I left it the second time all I think was 'Why didn't they make her say I'm Rey, just Rey.' at the end! That beautiful beautiful meaning of someone who is a nobody and can be a somebody was one of my favorite aspects of TLJ along with the meaning that for Ben NOBODY was always enough and that she was his countrpart. He , the son of this famous powerful family/bloodline and she the exact opposite and that it was exactly THAT what he loved so much about her. So even more - THANK YOU for this masterpiece that shows us WHY we fell in love with Reylo and that you make up a billion times for the crap that is TROS.

TROS garbages so many concepts that were established in the last two movies. I was just jutting my hand out in why at almost every scene. Except the kiss one 😆💙❤️ bit then I just shocked what they did to the lonely finally found each other soulmate babies.

Well, w force ghosts being able to touch people, catch light sabres, levitate X wings, and w Ben disappearing, it's not hard to imagine he became a force ghost, that he and Rey can have a relationship where they can have sex and that he can accompany her on adventures and fight enemies. Even having a kid is possible, because the force creates life. So if you wanted a happy ending, you have it.

I love his character : his hair style and the color of his hair, the black suit, the scar, his tall, he looks so attractive, sometimes as a scared boy, sometimes strong, and i love that he was smooth with her except when they usted fight with the lightsabers. One of my favorites escenes is when he climb and go to see Rey, he went for her with sort kind of anxiety, oh my God, i have not words..... 😐

I share your sentiments about Ben/Kylo Ren's hair style and the colour - he is so beautiful and natural, its the seat or centre point of his beauty. His black suit that is tailor-made, the scar that he was given by his Light Side of The Dyad - Rey! He is a very complex character but the most intriguing and compelling of all characters throughout the sequel trilogy. I am so glad that someone created this personality as I have never encountered such foreboding, conflict, compassion, hurt, longing, loneliness, belonging, mischief, mastery of emotions, measured, controlled, jealous, good counsel, coach, friend, brotherhood and protector in any other character, as I have seen in Ben Skywalker Solo. Awesome and inspiring...

I'm a Monster, he became one with the force, so yeah he is gone for good. Only time we'll see him again is if someone makes a prequel series with him, showing his origin story

I see most comments are from women, so from a male perspective I applaud your Reylo videos. They are touching and beautifully done. They truly capture the essence of the complex relationship that "Ben" and Rey built over the span of the three films. It shows that Ben still had some semblance of input or control, despite Kylo Ren trying to be the dominant persona due to the dark side contamination. Although the "Happy Ending" would have satisfied many a viewer, the ending as it happened is much more powerful as it elicits strong feelings associated with the sacrifice of a redeemed tragic character. It invalidates many of the criticisms related to the lack of character development, as it is clear that viewers were quite invested in the character of Ben Solo and his inner struggles with Kylo Ren and his interactions with and feelings for Rey, his Father and his Mother. If just for the Reylo dynamic, I give this film a grade of "A".
Seriously, Ben deserved so much more rather than just Darth Vadering him, killing him off just when he turns to the light. Idiots are they who changed this ending in the last moments of production.

I think so.. if they end up happy ending.. it will increase their income i swear it goes drop when they know what happend with him,...people nowdays is more open minded,, they know about ben story and start to understand his pain and why he goes the path before.., let him live and repair ther past is much worthed than just darth vadering him,, while he isnt vader at all.. i dunno why they change it in last minutes.. seems maybe its the safest way to reduce critics ..you know many starwars fanboy want him dead.. because they cant forgive for what he did kill thousand people (when. He still under pals’ which is i wondering it now.. he can kill fins in tfs but he doesnt... he treat rey so gentle since the beginning.. but seem the fanboy said that all thing that he face in the past, cant be excuse for his sin..so he doesnt deserve happy ending..... and if it will end up Ben lived they will freak out for sure. And that decision lead on big mistake through their income,, drop than TLJ.because if their end up happy ending, they are lots of people who willing to see then on cinema couple of times One of fanboy spread in youtube that reylo is kind of disaster to other.. reylo angry because what they want didnt happend.. and he think that reylo is so dumb ,noisy.and many shameless act,, while he doesnt know that its also reylo that give donation to adam charity .. the moment after ben dies,, reylo fans spread in the twitter , they did it to respect adam role in ben solo.. and its surpass their target amount.. thats how much we love ben solo..

👏👏👏👏💔💔💔, After watching TROS, TLJ and TFA again, I understand Rays FIRST Vision. Thats were REY AND BEN saw each other for the first time. Both of them were "the belonging both were looking for". They deserved to be together but then again, it would have never been a Shakespearan love tragedy and Star Wars is about both, love and tragedy but Good always wining over Evil.

@@Gaia_Seraphina Yes, he sees her, watch it and you'll see. Thats why he reacts "WHAT GIRL?" when told about her and the robot.. he had seen her already but for her it had not happened yet. I have been binge watching the movies, especially TLJ which I still dont understand why people hate it so much. For me, the trilogy is about Rey helping Ben return to the Lightside through LOVE. He didnt wanted to go to the darkside but felt betrayed and threathened so he felt he did not had other choice than go to the darkside. I believe that people got pist off because they feel like Lukes "legacy" was tainted but I dont think so, he was not a perfect being and failed, just like many before him but helping Rey in reality helped bring back his nephew.

What was the galaxy just supposed to kill him for mass genocide because he turned good in the end? He had to die like Vader, for what he had done.> He gave his life willingly knowing he had to pay a price, it was his redemption, why would you want to take that from him?
Reylo is the cutest thing on the planet. Ben always just wanted to be with Rey:) And after she saves him he realizes he would give her anything❤️

This statement is so true! Ben, the still, quiet one, just wanted to be with Rey. And, although Kylo Ren chased Rey really hard, he had to recede into Ben, The Person. Ben realized that Rey only wanted him, not Kylo Ren, and so he had to come out and claim her for himself, to the point of giving her everything of himself, even his own life force. Ben loved Rey from the moment that he told her that she was not alone, and he kept that promise to her, even to his end, in TROS. I love Ben Skywalker Solo because he was so giving, still/quiet and steadfast, yet hidden behind the flamboyant Kylo Ren...I am glad that he got out from hiding, eventually...Reylo belong together..

i cannot express enough how empty tros left me. in the end the girl who started off alone was left once again alone. sure she has finn, she was never friends with poe nor rose really. the people she called family han, leia, luke all gone and for the sake of ben, rey’s other half and jj and chris decided to once redeeming ben and giving meaning to all three deaths to kill ben? god. i’d never been so sad and down for so long after watching a movie let alone an end-of-franchise movie that is inherently supposed to wrap everything up and leave you feeling happy and satisfied that the story has been concluded not so damn empty. i love the sentiment of ben wanting to give up everything to save rey but leia’s death should have been enough to keep him alive and the fact that they chose to have rey look like nothing happened when going back to the resistance base is ridiculous. just imagine if all that happened to rey happened to you it would honesty end in crippling depression. what was the harm in letting someone in the entire saga have a happy ending? star wars has quite literally never heard of being happy.

1.Rey and Poe were best friends 2.I honestly cannot comprehend why you're complaining, you kinda got your ship canon if you hadn't noticed. 3.JJ Abrams tried to keep the fanbase steady, knowing that if he gave them a perfect ending, that a good 60% of the fanbase would complain, the same if they didnt do it at all.
Ben's smile just tear me apart...I just can't get over from that scene. It's so sad and beautiful at the same time.

Ugh the “I’ve never lied to you” breaks my heart every time! Why Ben has never lied to Rey? BECAUSE HE LOVES HER! It’s so obvious! From the moment he met Rey, he’s always loved her. Rey despised Kylo at first, but then she realized Ben was still there. She tried to turn him whenever she had the chance, and she finally did! They then realized they needed each other. They are a dyad in the Force and always will be! I will forever me mad at JJ for giving us this ending (unless he gives us an alternate ending someday and I don’t have to live in pain anymore). Ben and Rey will always be with each other no matter who’s gone. BECAUSE NO ONE’S EVER REALLY GONE! I loved the movie, but the ending we got for Reylo was freaking depressing.😭

Such an amazing video! Why could we not be left with Ben & Rey ruling the galaxy together and in love? Would have been such an amazing HEA ending to such a tragic saga of 9 movies! Oh why didn't this happen, the Force Dyad could have ruled for all eternity (in our minds), in perfect balance forever. The Force ultimately balanced through the most powerful love story in the galaxy! :(

Until I watched this with the voiceover of the line about getting rid of the past, kill it if you have to, over the scene of her stabbing him with his own light saber, it never occurred to me that this is in effect what she did, she stabbed Kylo Ren, who she saved was Ben Solo.

Message for J.J. Abrams 1) Don't you think at least one of Skywalker family deserved happy ending? Anakin died for saving his son and destroy Palpatine which he failed. He only slow him down. Luke also died. Leia died. So Ben is last Skywalker and he also had to died? I know this should be the movie closing Skywalker line, but Star Wars (movies) is Skywalker. And with Ben you also killed any chance for any continuing. he died for his love and he didn't even get the chance to be with her? 2) My main obsession is Reylo so is there any kind of Alternative happy ending for them? And if it is will be on DVD/BD when it will be released in April? 3) On the end when Rey become Skywalker after she sees Luke and Leia as a force ghosts where was Ben? And poor Rey? Just like on the beginning, in sand planet and what's worst alone again. If you don't want to answered these questions publicly then contact me some different way. How I don't know send me a message through this page. Or pidgeon. Or come to me. I can't pay for you air tickets or hotel, but I can buy you a drink or burger. Seriously now. Star Wars is here for almost fourty five years and is a big part of my life. And not just my life, but also milions of fans all around the globe. It connects us in most amazing way and helps us leave this some times bad reality and live in something different, something better. In a dream world where we all can be anyone we want to be. I can't imagine how stressfull and pressing is to create movie like that it's agreat deal of responsibility, but there is always a path for preservation hope and a future. In some article I read you're not good with endings, but that doesn't mean you have to do it all alone. Maybe I will send also a request to fanmail address and I will be hoping you will receive it and answer it, because hope will always die last.
