Rex and one of his best friends Doug Lucas fish in Lake Elingamite in South West Victoria. Rex catch a very nice Brown Trout and Doug follows up with a Redfin. Loving all the old footage Rex, I remember meeting you at least 20 odd years ago at bermagui with my dad and again a few months later at the melbourne boat show.

Fantastic to see these fishing adventures again. I grew up watching every Saturday night and got excited when you were fishing in freshwater as I learnt how to catch my favourite target species. I love these little lakes dotted throughout the state, my favourite being wooroonook lake and Tullaroop reservoir they hold some great sized fish. Yibbida yibbida do yourself a favour Rex and have a crack at these waterways one day you won’t be disappointed 😀

Miss Rexy, can't stand Paul Worstling, most annoying presenter i have ever seen.
How good is this, Rex was a pioneer of TV fishing shows, and not a single word of pushing products down the viewers throats, just fishing. Things have certainly changed now with the current crop of brand whores who simply promote anything and everything that lines their pockets. I miss Rex and sad to hear that he’s not travelling so well now. Yibbida yibbida Rexy 👍🥲
