REX did well with their pre-boarding entertainment & who doesn't like ice cream! Gate 13, spooky. You have certainly recorded the excellent customer service offered by REX, let's hope they can maintain that relaxed yet professional style. Finally I'm becoming concerned that if REX has too many more inaugural flights that you will need to review some Jenny Craig.centres.

Excellent service on each of my REX flights thus far in both economy and business class. Excellent fares offered to the Gold Coast so flying REX again next month. Thanks for your videos.

Having watched this u tube clip Rex Melbourne to Coolangatta I decided to travel up and back 2 weeks ago and was impressed by the serve and friendly staff. I traveled alone and was using a walker put on in Melboure with a lift, removed on the ramp, on return same applied except in Melbourne placed on an electric wheel chair and taken to the airport entrance. Very expressed and happy with the service provide

Great report new subscriber now & have done many many touch & gos at coolangatta when I did my pilots license here back in the early 80s.

Can’t wait to be back with travelling and on budget airlines. And one day, I will fly to Melbourne on Rex. Makes me want to join you and the celebration. But hopefully I will get the chance to fly domestic with Rex.

@@RoryDing Not that it would matter too much to you, but I had a Trip on the Spirit of the outback this Friday. But, it’s been cancelled for me now all cause of covid. To be honest I’m really kind of angry at the moment. I even wrote a comment on your SOTO video about it. But now that it’s been cancelled it’s been re scheduled to September and I won’t be able to do it in 1st class like I was hoping.

@@RoryDing the hotel doesn’t want to take our booking because I am from a ‘Red Zone’ in Brisbane. We have already tried other motels/hotels. No use.

I will most likely fly Rex returning to Melbourne from Gold Coast can’t wait I still have Perth in June-July on qantas and virgin.

REX will NEVER ever become a new Ansett, Because Ansett were run by old school management and staff, who refused and did not change with time, ie open sky policy that created competition. Airline industries is a do or die industry which Qantas dominate the Australian domestic market. Time will tell, will REX survive going forward. ????

@@alexlong3714 Alex Long please note that REX has previous history blood lines with Ansett Airlines of Australia with Ansett Airlines of South Australia etc and more through to Kendell Airlines. REX has feel of old school history having an underline feel of Ansett. History but REX feels a bit of Ansett. Virgin Blue or later Virgin Australia or TAA later or Qantas domestic has no feel for Ansett as organisation culture. Having flying Ansett and subsidiaries since late 1960's until November 2000 and with Kendell, REX is Ansett in 2021 as Ansett was in 1936 with challenges. Ansett 727.

Hi Rory, did you know that Melbourne Terminal 4 has a display of Model Airliners? After going through security, if you turn right and head for the long corridor heading back to Terminal 3, it's just on your right where the big leather couches are.

Hi Rory. FYI that’s sparkling wine - only wine from the champagne region in France is called champagne Edit: just watched one of your newer videos, looks like you figured it out already 😂😂😂

While Rex adds to some of their network, they are subtracting from other parts of the network. They want to stop services to Bathurst, as one example. Fortunately there has been a stay of execution till Sept, but at this stage, once Sept passes, there'll be no more flights to Bathurst.

I think you appear on 7 News report on this as well as you were to board your flight

Interestingly, Gold Coast Airport is partly in NSW and partly QLD. Terminal Area in NSW, hence 'Cooloangata' ICAO/IATA monica 'YOOL'.

Yes I used to be a barista! It really depends on my mood and time of the day, my favourite are espresso and cappuccino. I don’t like instant coffee that’s why you never see me have coffee on a plane.
