I wonder, how many times, in how many different ways, does Michael end up dead over this incident? How many different people pull the trigger? Is there even one timeline where he's actually able to escape getting killed over this? What delicious imagination food you've cooked up... Thank you!

Time travel (to the future) is reasonable. Just move your body at near the speed of light and you should be in stasis relative to everything else going on. If time travel (to the past) were to ever be invented, it would be as though time travel has allways existed. Because it dosent exist now, it never will.

@@TheKeller101 It's a valid argument, though cross dimensional travelers should exist if your hypothesis is true. The logical leap to make that hypothesis work must include "original / protected timelines cannot be traveled to." You see this great piece as a short because some schmuck also sees it, gets the rights to it (poor writer and actors hope against hope it's going to the best people who will love on it) BUT schmucks being what they are, they get stupid ideas and MESS this wonderful short all the way up by adding *ACTORS* (see MONEY) who want to pontificate and chew the hell out of this very nice piece. Meanwhile, all of us who saw it and hear about a *MOVIE* project get shafted in theaters EVERYWHERE when NO ONE recognizes the VOMIT that is released. Like what happened to The Shining when a large writer whose excellent book got turned into schlock by a hack *DIRECTOR*.

These Screamfest and other short horror films are of a really high standard. I think they put a lot of the stuff that is in cinemas and TV or streaming services, to shame because they're just so much more interesting and better made. I think the fact that a lot are entries in competitions raises the standard. I wish mainstream film makers would watch these and perhaps we would get some better entertainment!

NICE. Had to watch it again. It looks like that no matter what Michael dies. The only thing which changes is the location and in whose hands he does so. It vibes a bit like one of my fave movie, "Before I Fall". From the perspective of Michael the goal trying to save his life or of anyone he thinks/feels he can save is NOT the actual goal. What I love about the concept of time travel is it makes people believe that the goal is about changing something which they feel was wrong in the past. In actual fact the loop is in believing time is real and that it makes a difference! "Time and space are modes by which we think and not conditions in which we live.” “The distinction between the past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.” -- Albert Einstein
