The problem with Crow is that he feels like a controller/debuffer kind of brawler instead of being an assassin (which is what the game and Supercell wants him to be). While he can have amazing oneshot potential, he's more focused on poking the enemy to death or bursting a low health target. The way I see it is that you either need to make him a Controller or an assassin, nothing in between. For example, you can keep the damage over time while increasing his health and removing his current Super in exchange to having his second gadget becoming his super, while having the rest of the gadgets and star power as additional debuff effects. On the other hand, you can make it that when you hit an enemy, they recieve more damage depending on how low they are (not crazy numbers, but like 15% based on their missing health) instead of dealing DOT, while keeping his current super the way it is and deleting his second gadget and replacing it with something else. What im trying to say as a 27 rank Crow main is that he is FAR from bad, he's just badly designed, if that makes sense.

Removing the super would be critical, and would make him arguably worse. All he needs, is a bigger attack hitbox to hit multiple daggers and one or two less poison ticks. If they really want him to be an assassin, just give a faster super or a new star power, as nubbz pointed out. Star power could just be something simple as a “trade-off”, maybe a bigger dagger damage, but less ticks, you get the idea. Or another star power should just give a shield whilst jumping, similar to daryl or bull. Its just that his 2 main aspects, poison ticks and dagger damage, are hard to balance, because it would give the same effect. There realistically isn’t a way to rework him, if not replace an aspect in some way.

imo he should get: - a buff to initial knife damage - reduced poison time (from 4 ticks to 2) - a significant super charge rate buff, like almost x2 - less daggers in the super and decrease their range - extra toxic could get buffed because the poison is shorter - slowing toxin could be buffed because the window to use it got smaller (poison is shorter)

i'm sure you didn't even think for 10 minutes to see if it's actually a good change. The poison is what MAKES crow. If you reduce his poison then he's just not crow anymore even with a poison dmg buff. The poison isn't for damage most of the time, it's just to stop the brawlers from healing. 2x super charge is absolutely broken. Also how would you even buff slowing toxin, you're just saying random stuff now without thinking abt it. Only valid change is buff to knife dmg.

Heres an idea for a Crow rework/change. What if, when the opponent falls below half of their max hp, then instead of poisoning them, Crow deals the full poison damage all at once? Basically, if the opponent has full health, then Crow would chip them down to 50% with the poison, and then as soon as they hit 50%, he no longer poisons them, but deals way more damage so he can finish them easily.

Carrion Crow increases the damage Crow deals when the opponent is below 50% hp, so it would stack with this change, making Crow a really interesting brawler. He would play passively, chipping away at the opponent until they reach half health, and then he immediately would switch to a dangerous assassin that can easily finish them off with huge damage.

Hmm, you mentioned Crow being too reliant on his gadgets and star powers, but I think it's part of a bigger problem where he relies on the poison too much. He's labeled an assassin and his kit kinda shows it with keeping the enemy weak so they go down easier or slowing them so they can't escape, but his main attack is balanced around the poison duration rather than the poison's strength. I feel like reducing it from 4 ticks to 2, make them stronger and increase the dagger damage, and giving him more health (he really needs the health because of the damage inflation) he would play a lot more aggressively instead of being just a chipper. You can definitely still play him like a chipper this way, but the added health and the higher burst damage allows you to be more proactive in getting kills, or at least I would hope so. I'm really enjoying these discussion videos Nubbz! 👀

I think crow should throw more daggers for the same area as the current range.. Improves everything and he can be buffed or nerfed fairly easy instead of relying on secondary abilities.

tbh all id do is probably just make the super charge rate faster, itll probably make him atleast a little better than now- also more damage would be good too, considering he cant rly deal with enemies close up...

Nah, just the super/hyper rate up would be enough. If you can't deal with someone close up, run away with the super (that you will have a lot more now with the super rate being increased)

Thank god I finished he's mastery before he got nerfed, I hope they change he's title like pearl or maybe they will put new crow skins in the brawl pass plus with the boss of bosses title in the future

The crow should be revorked in my opinion is to increase damage for his daggers and increase his hp so he can get close to enemy and deal tons of damage,but you can nerf his poison damage and his speed so it won't be broken and his super will actually get useful because it will actually be used to get close to enemies and not just to either kill low hp enemy or escape

He doesn't really need more DMG in my opinion, just more sustain. As Nubbz said, changing his gadget so that his poison heals him would be so useful cause he can position himself better in so much more different interaction. And it'd be good if his shield gadget is changed, but not removed completely but instead is added onto his super. So you don't just immediately die after jumping onto a brawler (especially with today's meta).

Ok I have to disagree with some parts, like changing crows kit bc I think crows kit is unique and requires patience, which a lot of brawlers playstyles don’t really have. Nerfing poison damage would be too harsh on his already low damage, and nerfing poison duration would completely ruin his playstyle But I have to agree with buffing his health/damage a bit bc he relies to much on his SPs and gadgets, in addition to getting 1-2 shotted by the majority of brawlers in the game Tbh supercell shld just change his class to controller bc I don’t see how poison would fit into an assassin’s kit

Also buffing his super charge rate would be good bc rn I feel like it looks more powerful than it actually is, kind of like squeaks first gadget or belles second gadget, and brawlers like fang and Maisie are running around with way more impactful supers that charge in 3-4 hits Meanwhile crow is stuck in the back trying to charge a single super and when he gets it he can only use it to assassinate pretty much already dead brawlers or to reposition, none of which are very rewarding for the slowest charging super in the game

Crow rework idea: Decrease spread of knives to make hitting multiple easier, and stop auto aiming. Buff initial damage and decrease number of poison ticks. Make knives do more damage the lower health the target is like Collette but reverse. Have the knives pierce and return like hypercharge but without hypercharge buffs as normal super and keep same super charge rate. Change hypercharge so it makes the hypercharge super knives slow enemies and poison them for longer and make the hypercharge charge much faster. Also give him a little health buff so he doesn’t get one shot by like 10 brawlers 😂.

Also remove second gadget and replace it with Deep poison: Attacks for a short period (about the same as clay pidgeons) do less initial damage but greatly increased poison damage. Take out carrion crow and replace it with something where you get 50 percent shield for 2 secs after super or something. Any ideas welcome 😀

There's one thing that I always wondered why they didn't do once byron and willow came out, and its stacking poison. Yeah I know that willow and byron's damage is entirely just the poison mechanic, but I still feel like that doesn't warrant crow not getting the same thing after they came out

I think I have a good idea on how to fix crow. First, they need to remove his poison’s damage, but like how Darryl’s shield was made a part of his super instead of being a starpower, do that with the damage debuffing affect on enemies so that his quirk of poison is still there, but it isn’t anywhere near as annoying. And to make up for the removal of the poison damage entirely, just to make him not completely terrible, increase his hp from 4800 to 6800 to make him a bit more like leon. And the final thing would be to increase his super charge seeing as his super is the only thing that can assassinate. (As replacement starpowers you could have one where if an enemy has their back turned to crow when they get hit by a dagger maybe the damage reduction or just the damage in general are increased. And for his second starpower make it so that his attack’s debuff is kind of like an infection, so if an enemy has the debuff and one of their attacks/supers passes through another enemy they also get infected with the debuff.

Even dumber thing about his hypercharge is poison damage doesn’t charge it, makes it even harder to charge when he already has one of the slowest super chargerates in the game.

I think the crow is an assassin that doesn't have much offensive potential, the crow's super can help, the big problem is that it takes a long time to charge and is almost never in the match. So I think something that would make him not need the super to attack, like an accessory that would give him a dash forward and in this dash he would gain very high defense (after all the crow has very little life), and deal damage like 3 daggers or maybe even 5? I believe this would make the crow's defense and offensive very strong, being able to run away from brawlers like Edgar or Fang with the dash and advance on snipers like Piper or Belle

I always saw Crow as the Melee fox of brawl stars and if they changed Crow to be more high risk high reward like fox I think that could be fun. making his gadgets more aggressive then defensive if they did this it would also actually make him an assassin

crow is insane, the amount of times i jumped into a tank or damage dealer who has full hp and won low difficulty is crazy.

I think how he plays is just fine. Chip damage the game, yes it's annoying, but he doesn't have any better options, even if his best option is one of the best chip damage in the game. I like the idea of more supers, it'll help his super problem and his hyper charge problem: Make his super easier to charge, but his super spawns less daggers. His super now won't melt a safe with hypercharge, his super would be more versatile, and he can be played like a safe assassin, where he jumps in to attack a few times, then jumps back out. Maybe a change to his unload speed would help with that too, so he doesn't feel like a sitting duck when close up.

Hopefully when hypercharges are all released, the meta will start to balance out

Crow is a brawler that is pretty hard to balance because he is annoying to fight against due to his poison. When crow was good showdown became infested and anyone who didn't had a way to get close to him died, the slow gadget also contributed to making him one of the most annoying brawlers to fight. The best way to making him good without making him annoying would be to make his range shorter and damage higher so that he can become a proper assasin, also the shorter range would make him more manageable and less annoying for tanks and short ranged brawlers, also rework his gadgets that slow is stupid and the shield is pointless.

Maybe to rework the shield gadget they could make it similar to Edgar's Hardcore gadget by giving Crow temporary hitpoints

maybe give him a trait that gives him passive health regen, not much obviously dont make it broken. but because his health is so small that could help. his poison slowly killing enemies while he slowly regens. and maybe just label him a controller and make his super come faster and boom

What if they made crows poison stack but reduce poison damage and duration. That would make his burst potential much better and incentivize being closer to hit more daggers and playing more like an assassin.

All of your ideas are great, and as a fellow crow main I also feel like letting his poison stack woould be good, Like two daggers deal double the poison that one would. Same for if you hit three, then it would deal triple the damge of one. This would allow him to kill people after he' dead, and also have more burst damfe. Also I feel like buffinhg his SP or gadget would be good.

In my opinion, Crow is reslly good. He just needs a health buff.

His hypercharge is so slow to get that it’s almost not worth getting at this point. I was exited for it because if used correctly, it’s good. But now I’m not sure if I want to buy it. Some brawlers have a similar problem to crow where supercell nerfs the hell out of some brawlers. Like Chester or Sam. They got nerfed and now they suck even though they were my favorite brawlers to use.

New gadjet - Life steal: after activation everytime crow damages someone he heals himself. DURATION - 3 Seconds EXAMPLE - If he deals 2000 damage to an enimie he heals 2000 hp (tick damage also counts)

this doesnt really make sense because it would be bad for the same reason the shield gadget is, you'd die before you can even heal yourself, colette already has a gadget like this and it works for her because she has more health, deals more burst damage and has a shield star power which pairs well with it. Crow doesnt have any of that, so the gadget would probably be ever worse than the shield is rn

Basically how you use this gadjet is like you active it use 3 amo and jump on the enimie so because you hit them any damage you took before you jump is healed and the enimies amo is also wasted so it's a garentied kill if you use it correctly

Rn there are so many new brawlers being released with high damage abilities and combined that with hypercharges Crow's damage is so low rn and his health (4800) is also i think 2nd lowest, after Tick, so he's not made like assassin... Tbh I like Crow to be like he is now and they could make another brawler with assassin like abilities... Slowin Toxin rework: Weakning poison: When the gadget is activated, all the enemies poisoned by Crow within the next 3 seconds are gonna have their reload speed slowed down by 30%. Defense Booster Buff: Damage reduction from 40% to 50% Hypercharge: Crow's hypercharge rate is increased proportionally to his Super charge rate increase. My intention with these changes is to make Crow less of a Controller and more of an Assassin (as he's supposed to), nerfing his annoyingness from long range and buffing his close range capabilities. Also, a buff to his Hypercharge, because you barely ever charge this damn thing during the match.

I think what crow needs is a health buff to 5600 maybe and his super charge rate to go down to 7 daggers

I think crow's damage and charging of super are the main weakness

He heals the same amount of 2 ticks poison damage per brawler poisoned or he gets a temporary heal buff like Gus super

How to buff crow his poison can stack up to 2 and his gear will stack up to 3 instead of 2 this will make him balance

I don't think Crow's hypercharge is necessarily bad, it is definitely one of the most balanced hypercharge abilities, but in terms of the hypercharge charging, it's so bad.

I just wanted to find a Brawl Stars video to comment on, their are somethings I think should be in Brawl Stars so here they are More customization in controls (on mobile), just allow people to put their buttons anywhere, why is it separated into movement and attack? The environment button on map maker to work, this is self explanatory. Just a little thing that I don’t want a lot to put into the game, but it would be cool if you could get any brawler skin if you reach final level mastery on that brawler (new final level and would take a ton more mastery points than most tiers) Let every game mode (except event ones like big game) be on trophy events at all times (maps would still change, it wouldn’t be the same hot zone map every time) Make a 6v6 or 5v5 game mode This it just my opinion so please don’t hate me, but please still state your opinion in the comments cause I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this or a thing you think should be in the game.

I can agree honesty he is way worse than chesters first nerfs,his hp is so low and can be easily killed by any ranged brawler not to mention that his super is a death sentence

Lmao he was S tier since Season 12 for the control he can do (And his second gadget)
