As an Arkansas fan, I have to say you guys do have a good Coach in Sark. It's only his first year, so cut him some slack. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day, neither is a College football program. Just ask us. But all you need is week over week improvement.

I went up to Fayetteville last weekend, and was pleasantly surprised to encounter a few good Arky fans like yourself. Most, however, were the classless clowns I was told to expect and which you can see examples of in the comments to this video.

‘Talking about how close this game could have been’….your kidding right? Imagine what would happen if Arkansas didn’t kick 4 fieldgoals. Texas also scored on the backups. Difference between Sam Pittman and Steve Sarkisian: Pittman shoulders all of the blame after a loss. Sarkisian blames it on player execution. Fails to emphasize how he was out coached in all 3 phases.

I agree that he was outcoached by Odom, and the 4th down call when you've seen your o-line get obliterated pretty much all game was lousy in the extreme. But if you really think the players don't deserve a great deal of the blame for this loss then you were watching a different game than me. Our o-line was mauled pretty much all night until Arkansas just decided to take mercy on us. Receivers missed catchable balls and Card looked completely out of his element pretty much all night. That's player (lack of) execution on the field, not coaching.

@@brandonowilliams I guess it comes down to whether or not you believe the coaches are coaching them up the right way. I believe they are. The line was unable to control a 3-man defensive front a large portion of the game. They weren't physical enough and missed assignments all over the place. And that's something that I've noticed a lot of people talking about that are far more intelligent about football schemes than I'll ever be. I will say this, however. The coaching staff absolutely failed to prep the players for the environment they were walking into. I don't think they did a good job of getting their minds right for this game and it showed all night long. What will be interesting to watch moving forward is how they scheme around the o-line's deficiencies until the coaching clicks or until the coaches realize they have to work with what they've got.

As a Razorback for 66 of my 67 years and class of 77, I was never more proud of my team than Sat. night. The only other time I can recall my pride getting wild was the 1976 Sugar Bowl when we were 18 pt. underdogs against Oklahoma and we buried them 36 to 6 with 3 of our best players out for team violations. That win set Lou Holtz onto his national championship at Notre Dame. Holtz has been reincarnated in Sam Pittman. Go Hogs!!!!

Awesome win for your team no doubt! I do find it very interesting that you and many other Arkansas fans on other social media are putting this recent win so extremely high on the all-time wins list. Would have imagined the 2014 Texas Bowl being higher considering it was a bowl game. Or for regular season games in my opinion, that 2003 win in Austin doesn't get talked about enough considering the Horns had a much much better team back then with the likes of Vince Young, Cedric Benson, Roy Williams & B.J. Johnson just to name a few compared to our present day roster. By the way, I am glad yall beat OU in that 1978 Orange Bowl as that ended any hope for them potentially winning a Natty that season so thank yall for that lol!

Lucky little plays. Texas had some of those as well. That's a weak excuse for being dominated. How about how good Arkansas defense played? Several plays Texas defense made plays when it was missed blocked. Yet, he talks about how those are solid defensive plays and tackles. Spare me. Never mind the lack of a pass interference call on the defense in the end zone that was never called and stopped Arkansas from scoring another TD.

Wow, too bad Sark couldn't give Arkansas any credit for the win! All he said was our quarterback and OL/DL didn't play well....nothing about Arkansas kicking Texas all over the field. The bottom line is Sark was out coached and didn't prepare his team for the game. The SEC ain't like the old SWC and Texas better get used to it. WPS!

Sam Pittman: Credit where credit is due. Steve Sark: Credit where Steve wants it. In terms of respect for your opponent, there is a Grand Canyon between Sam Pittman and Steve Sarkisian. This is just one of the reasons Sark will be out recruited by everyone in the future. Every other coach (in College football) in Texas' shoes would have said something like "look, Arkansas played lights out and we weren't ready for it" Meanwhile Sark says "we missed some blocks" If I was a Texas fan, I'd feel just like i did when Chad Morris was at Arkansas

def was fine to start problems came with over throws/miscues etc. its that game you do everything wrong. Ark played solid and it wore our team. A few different plays changes everything, but its a great film to show how a couple missed opps early can result in a meltdown situation. Just learn and move on, hope they have a great year and we'll see em again another day.

Game wasn't close you got shut out the first half. You had a quarterback who couldn't connect with open receivers, and you had some open guys that if they would of connected it could of been a couple more TD's for TX. It was a great day to be a Hogs fan.

its true though. Texas did not play well. There were several moment in the first half that Texas should have capitalized on. The muffed punt, and the open Whittington touchdown. Those are broken Arkansas plays. Arkansas did a good job of controlling the game once they went up and they deserve the credit there. But the coaches watching film are going to focus on their players, not the other team. Why do you need his validation anyway
