Sylvester Stallone has been my hero since childhood. To me, he is criminally underrated as a dramatic actor and his incredible sense of humor has never been realized cinematically. It’s such a shame that so many don’t seem to understand that Rocky Balboa is a fictional character and Stallone himself is extremely multifaceted, talented, an accomplished actor, writer, director and painter. Very well educated, articulate and intelligent. This is a great interview, by the way.

Sly didn’t really start to look older until he hit 60, but he was 68 in expendables 3 and looks closer to late 40 year old early 50’s in that film. It’s crazy:

Sly was always my fave actor...grew up with him and all us 80's boys wanted to be tough like Rambo and a great fighting underdog with pecs and biceps like Rocky! Back when women still liked tough men unlike today where they prefer "soy boys" with string beans for arms who want to be women themselves. But I digress..Sly was the man! Thanks for posting
