little bit fiddly getting the body screws just right for the rear wheel clearance but not too bad, just back then off half a turn so there's a tiny amount of movement and let the chassis do the rest

I haven't tried but the digital chips have the wiring so I would think it's just a case of getting some micro JST connector plugs and some leds and gluing them in behind the lights

For some reason I I never of watching you chip a Revo Dave. It is a bit like an old film we watch over. Yes, we know what is coming but the mesmerizing process in terms of getting there remains the same. This is your usual mix of highly descriptive and plain language descriptive narrative and I feel sure you give as much if not more to others in the hobby as you yourself receive from them in return. Otherwise, this CLK is seemingly the best Revo for fast flowing tracks? Maybe the Toyota LM car is its best rival?

it's a tricky balance, I've chipped a lot of cars before but new people come along all the time and I guess a number of people don't go back and watch 90 + old videos so I feel I should do another one from time to tine, but change it up a bit, even if like this time it was the different shaped chip, but we've had two revo chipping videos recently and not much track stuff so next weekend it'll be a carrera track one, then after that might take a look at that cheap Pioneer Charger - variety is the spice of life :)

As usual a good video. Have you done a video on the camera car we don’t see. I think we’d all like to see this ghost camera car and how it was built. All your builds are very well thought out.👍

there's no magic with the camera car, it's just a carrera 911 pink pig with the magnets still in and a cheap Akaso version of a gopro stuck on it :D

@@ronfast703 the trick is getting the cars running as slow as you can but it still look fast. A real lap is as you can see a shade over 5 seconds, a camera car lap is about twice that

Hi Dave, I had to give you a fat like on this one, eh! But, the way that I am, means I am German and we always have to complain on anything, I am deeply disgusted by those two Frogs, that hang on the side of the doors! lol Uuh, that needs some paintjob! And one more thing I do not like is the Vodafone banner on the front-window. This company is by far, the most unreliable phone-company that is proceeding here! Their service sucks and they rip off the customers. Puuh, now the steam is released from my Tea-Pot now. lol But honestly, nice one indeed. Have lots of fast rounds with it and good luck on the hunt for the other ones. 🙂 P.S. my Girlfriend Kirstin sits right next to me and she loves that Mercedes, too. But like me, she 1st noticed the ugly green Side-Mirrors and she had it big time with Vodafone. She had to sue them and got ripped off by the court than. They charged her money for a TV-Box she had to send back and claimed she never sent it back, although she had a receipt and what not for it. A longer story this is, but (how many butts have I used already?) that, on another day. It is weekend and I wish a fine one Mate! ;-) Yes, us Germans again! :-) Catch you tomorrow morning at Traaaaaaaaack Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaans TV. 🙂

Great tips . I just picked up my first Revo slot car, the Corvette cr6 yellow #3. Is there any tips for replacing the guides & braids ? Put the wood guide on. But my big hands, its very difficult putting the braids back on. Very frustrating. What a screaming fast car. Can really feal the torque.

I run Carrera Digital, I think it's the better system and there's several aftermarket chips made for it so you can usually find a chip to fit any car

Dave, who makes the setup block you use? I like the hash lines to confirm alignment

Nobody, it's my own design I got made via a friend of a friend with a CNC machine. Staffs Slots do something similar, but not quite.
