My first car is Accent CRDI always special to me. Beige interior, with superb chilled AC, Power antenna, Door Ajar, Tilt steering, Driver seat up & down movements, milage around 18kmpl. No jerk in 100km & turns well in top speeds. Back seat 3 persons will occupy very comfortably, nowadays in sedan more than 2 is not sufficient.

It was very comfortable, stable and spacious. I used the GLS petrol with ABS. It was trouble free and smooth. Only issue was mileage. Very good car.

As your correctly mentioned ji Hyundai r&d analysis was excellent in 15 years back itself some essential features are incorporated in their products like defogger , power windows, fog lamp which are essential now a days.. in hyundai product line some best gen products examples , GetZ diesel, accent diesel and xing petrol Elrx .. Kudos to Sabeer i know very well from his position how sentimentally he is using accent 20 years that means .. this car is not giving any trouble in service and spare support, plus lastly he is not tendeance to change or exchange this car particularly... that means he is more satisfied this product since 2002 to current ❤️❤️ One more example is myself - am really Proud to be xing owner it's going to 15 years .i don't have any Mindset till now by changing car this shows the satisfaction and sentimental with hyundai product line up ❤️❤️

I am happy that you mentioned opel corsa, however I have drooled looking at opel Astra.. have you driven one in your young days.. I have had a ride on it.. I think it was way ahead of its age.. Opel was a different manufacturer.. corsa, corsa sail and Astra are something I am not able to spot at all these days..

You are correct still in our family we are using accent petrol. The first of our family and carried/still carrying lot of memories and pride moment. 🎉🎉🎉 Also still in our car we can see Visteon(supplier) name in cluster. And still we have a good support from Hyundai for service. Only our mind says it’s aged but when we get in, it is still aggressive and rugged.

I still use this Diesel version, i have driven many of my friends car , honestly I say ,even a petrol car cannot match this cars pickup , Vera level , with high milage ,but one draw back , this engine gives starting trouble ,that was the fall of this car , many mechanics said to me , this is a racing car sir 😆 ,but partially it is true if you drive this beast yourself , when I give sudden acceleration .

Hyundai currently planning for launching Verna nline in India which is accent in abroad markets and I don't why Hyundai changed there car name from accent to Verna in india is there any reason .some Hyundai cars like Tucson,velostar,i30n,ezera and Elantra is some of good cars which is also capable of selling in indian market.lets hope Hyundai bring these cars in India

Very well maintained car. Kudos to the owner for the painstaking effort in maintaining the originality of the vehicle. I miss my accent. Truly its an iconic car and introduced Hyundai in the mid size and luxury sedans market. Just FYI Accent Viva was based on the Euro accent. Hyundai was in the overseas market long before coming to India with their Atos, Excel and Stellar . Atos had been introduced in India as Santro. The excel then became Accent. Stellar was a luxury sedan and ancestor of Elantra and Sonata. We would like to see many iconic cars review and I am sure it will trigger nostalgic feelings of many viewers. Thanks to Asir Sir and his team for bringing in such reviews.

I own 2002 accent petrol GLS which is still going strong... Only problem is mileage other wise this is very comfortable car... Thanks reviewing accent 👍👍 I am still using the car love this car... Due to ageing have spent money for maintenance but happy with the performance

Definitely Hyundai Accent is game changer in Indian market and it looks awesome with body antenna. But this car looks same in pristine condition what i used to saw in 2007. Nowadays i saw only few cars in road because of 17 years lapsed , but 2 years before i saw so many accent cars in my city and mostly white. Funny thing is i saw mostly 9 white coloured cars/10 was swift white and hyundai accent white cars because of popularity.

Hi Asir Sir, it was treat to have this Nostalgic car on your Channel. By the way it was my request raised when Zen Diesel car was first reviewed. I had the same colour 2003 petrol version,it's truly pleasure and fun to drive. You won't even feel any tiredness even in long drive. Only drawback is mileage otherwise no one can compete this car. My father was worked in Standard motors, He said about STANDARD 2000 car ( 1985 to 1988) Very costly ₹ 2,12,000.

We own 2003 Accent Petrol ... comfort still don't match with many cars now ... Get around 12-16km/L mileage. But finding spares is a big concern,since I don't settle with second grade spares. Atlest find a OEM product and fix it. Still a bliss to own this car even now
