Unfortunately it's not possible to change the whole face or the whole head, I'm sorry. you have to use deep face lap for this. unfortunately I am not a specialist with that software. but if you go to druuzil tech and games Hey KZread channel there you can find a tutorial. I hope this helps

I guess I'm a cynic, but, as with Deepfake Lab, I remain unimpressed. The problem with Swapface and Deepfake Lab is they basically swap out the eyes, nose and mouth and leave the cheekbones and jawline - the outline of the face - alone. Margo Robbie became a male. She did NOT become Arnold Schwarzenegger. You with the Korean girl became a girl. You did NOT become her (she doesn't have your cheek hollows or your square jaw. Faceswapping you and Arnold looked like, well, you. At that point I gave up on the video. EBSynth requires a lot of manual work to create the keyframes and, usually, multiple passes needing to be blended in the edit, but produces much better results. The overall shape of the face can be changed. A basically unskilled 3D animator using a tool like Facebuilder in Blender, exporting to Metahuman and then using the AI face to shape keys tool to drive the digital double then rendering from Metahuman/Unreal Engine and compositing in, say, Hitfilm Free - that will actually generate a face swap which looks like the target face. Yes, it requires a lot more steps, but it's all free software which doesn't actually require high levels of skill. Still with free software. Deepfake Lab and Faceswap Lab create weird uncanny valley effects, but, if you hadn't TOLD me you'd attempted to face swap Margot Robbie with Arnold Schwarzenegger I wouldn't have known it was supposed to be Arnold. Chin, cheekbones and forehead were all wrong. It was just a random male face. Sure it's one-click, but it doesn't actually do a good job. I sure as hell didn't get it off the video thumbnail.

it is always good to also hear a critical opinion. I think in most things you are right for a great part. But for a 1 click solution i find the result pretty funny and halfway realistic. Do you have a tutorial for your ebsynth method?

@@digital_magic Not as yet. The current iteration of the workflow is pretty much, "Find a source image of the target face and comp it over the source in your photo editor of choice and let EBSynth do its thing." EBSynth is good at dealing with changed cheek or jaw shape. Of course, you've got all the typical EBSynth limitations (like turning a head too far needs more keyframes). The big problem with this method is - if, say, one had been working on a Quantum Leap/Doctor Who mashup since Capaldi was the Doctor, and needs to put a lot of Scott Bakula on a whole expanding list of other actors - is the same as trying to do a "stabilize source, stabilize target, roto entire head, paste into place, and 'reverse-stabilize' the composite" job... Finding target faces matching lighting and tone with the source face. (Side note, at the moment my work PC is in the shop on warranty repair) The next iteration of the workflow is to bring in a lot of Stable Diffusion. For Scott and each Doctor I will try either a LORA or Textual Inversion model. For both of those training methods it's suggested you use a variety of outfits and hairstyles so the model will be flexible. I don't want to do this with Scott or the Doctors. I want predicable and repeatable. I think I should train a specific LORA/TI for the specific episodes I want to put a Scott Bakula into so that Stable Diffusion specifically knows, say, "Davison_Castrovalva," while I train off of one or two consecutive episodes of Quantum Leap so I get a consistent Bakula. Basically I want very rigid models so, say, Stable Diffusion doesn't give me different hair each time I generate Scott. Hopefully I can then start with the exact shot I want to face swap and use ControlNet to grab the pose, expression and lighting from the original shot and tell Stable Diffusion "Scott Bakula dressed as Davison_Castrovalva" and get a Scott Bakula with the proper lighting (and costume) for the shot. In theory this gives me Scott Bakula faces in the proper position, expression and lighting so I can take the SD output into Affinity Photo, do a sloppy mask around the face and it'll just work. It'll just line up correctly and match lighting so I don't have to spend forever searching images for each shot, line everything up, liquify if needed, blend edges, dodge/burn for shadow matching, etc. If it does, that's a technique worth a tutorial. Sure, it's a lot more effort than a one-click tool, but it should look CORRECT.

It's literelly in the name "Swap Face" what you're talking about is bone structure. This isn't head swap or skeleton swap. Which this doesnt claim to be. Complaining about something the software doesn't claim to do is pretty pointless

I think it is very hard to create deep fake with EBsynth. But in the tutorial that I uploaded today I am using stable diffusion to turn myself into Margot Robbie. it is not 100% for realistic but it's getting very close and I think if you will try different settings you might come to a sort of defect result. but if you really want to have high quality defect you need to use deep face lap come on which is unfortunately a very complex software

Can you upload a cartoon face? For example a Pixar style cartoon bear🐻? or can it only detect human like faces?

I'm very sorry I gave you the wrong comment. I thought you were commenting on my last video. so here's the correct answer: no swap face doesn't recognize a cartoon face. it only recognizes a human face. I once tried to swap a picture I created in stable diffusion on it and it didn't really work. I hope this helps

slow slow slow painful. To achieve 5 minutes you'd need top of the range PC with top of the range broadband, and it's not free anymore. It said my video would take an hour, I have 4.2ghz 8 core cpu with a pretty good web connection,
