Ahhh... revolt tierlist. Outside of the handful of good ones it's the battle of mids. Edit: You forgot Canada with -55% off on natives if you're going nats with Fre. Really nuts! The timing of constantly streaming cheapass nats waypointed to the enemy base is hilarious.

Yeh the whole nat thing with Canada is VERY strong!

Canada is definitely S tier with France with the strong natives, you can train about 100 pop free buffed natives, that are discounted twice if you send the cost reduction card card before revolting. South Africa lost a Factory but gained 2 extra banks and imperial economy and imperial WWs so I don't see them losing a factory as a nerf at all, definitely S tier as well.

Canada Natives are indeed very strong, but spending enough cards to get everything can be slow and lack tempo

Even without sending any native cards, French Canada gets fencibles twice and can still use the Canadian native cards to get decent units if need be. Opponent dare not attack you either unless they want lots of Métis Voyagers in the face.

This is my problem, I'm trying to macro it out in my head between cards & just getting Canada up... Almost feel like an alternate version of A.T.P. should be given to boost Trading post Exp. where Spain doesn't get it. SO many of your casts I've spammed over the last week contains the 'Dun Duh Dahhh - Another Card' Sound for Spain! The thing I agree with you *MOST* on against Canada (haven't gotten to do it yet) is that there is no 'attack move' or method to not have to micro consistently all of the Revolted Villagers/C.D.B.s... If there were I think villager play with Dragoon & native frontliners like Nootka (so food cost too) would be best & just use the extra natives where the free ones you get just put them to work where they fit best. C.D.B.s/Voyageurs with all upgrades and the BEST Nootka tech for +50% H.P. or even better with Berber 35% gives anywhere from 450 to 550 H.P Voyageurs with 40% ranged resistance. They're like a Royal Musketeer with H.P. instead of extra damage (i.e. they have basic attack damage with few bonuses except x2 artillery) so they're mild against everything but cost only 120 food.

Sending Ancien Regime, which allies you with House of Bourbon, prior to revolting is quite good for Canada too. Add in even more super cheap natives (Royal Musketeers and Royal Dragoons, both affected by the cost reduction cards) to the ones granted by Native American Allies.

As an argentinian, i honestly can't tell if this is AoE3 or political comment.

I have BO that goes FI with dutch and goes USA revolt. You get 6 gatlings and have banks to keep the pressure on with gold costing shipments. It has difficult shipments so kinda hard to play. Worth trying Lion, maybe it is noob revolt.

Mostly agree. If a build is found for Haiti it could be nasty but that’s a lot of theory. For those of you unaware the buccaneers card that lets them shoot doesn’t remove their ability to go into cover mode which makes the unit near impossible to counter effectively. It’s a shock infantry unit so artillery doesn’t work and it gets siege resistance while in cover, it gets counter infantry rifling benefits so it beats muskets and has speed so hand infantry can’t get close. Dragoons do alright but they still trade favourably until age 5. Also being an outlaw it trains much faster and can be made instant with another card from the Haitian deck. There’s two problems for 1v1 though. Getting an economy to spam them after revolting and actually pulling off the revolt in the first place. Still think even as it stands and ignoring the buccaneers, Indonesia is worse, those pikeman are awful compared to even Haitian maroons and Cetbang cannons aren’t worth writing home about. Still have doubts about Rev France especially with how good Canada is for France now but looking forward to being proven wrong and seeing more of it.

I see revolutionary France as something I will go almost in every team game and I win most of the time. It's straight up better than regular imperial France and you just built your army and then all in with overpop Church cards and overpop mustekteers. Canada is option B when you go minor European houses built.

I use it in team games just for the sheer fun of raiding bases with Buccaneers, I send the citizen card 2nd after revolt settlers straight on to mines two factories producing gold also needed.

Hold up; if buccaneers are ercenaries; do spies trade well with them? Or any kind of upgraded spy? Like the one portugal has? Also i belive assasin is kinda buggy since it doesnt do the range attack.

​@@dimitrisoikonomou3568 It’s a 1v1 tier list and in team games still think Canada is better, super cheap natives and you get loads of them with lots of upgrade cards. Your economy is much worse then normal Imperial France and Canada for that matter. I mean sure you can use grens to mine and chop but by that point those won’t last long and takes a card to even do it. If you are allowed to over pop to that degree in 1v1 like the game shown on this channel your opponent screwed up or you won the game anyway.

Buccaneers dont really have an answer to heavy cav. Espacially frenchs Cuirassiers wipe the floor with them

Also im surprise only haiti is on D and not any other. Also the funniest part of usa is the steath petards; one day i have to use them against my brother 😂😂😂

As the person who ‘inspired’ this list, Indonesia is definitely worse. I think while there may be a build for Haiti that uses their pirates one day getting to that in practice is very difficult. Realistically you need to have an economy to use them which a revolt outside of South Africa and Canada kinda destroys. If a build is found they are A or B. In team games they are easier to set up but as both France and Brit, Canada is a likely better choice. Even Rev US as you say has things that are appealing. Having said that Maroons are much better then Javanese Spearmen and the shipments Haiti gets are better too. Indonesia probably should be bottom on it’s own. I dunno why Lion thought 200HP pikes with age 2 attack stats are worthwhile compared to better range/less HP revolutionaries but eh.

I enjoy South Africa Revolt tried it as Brits and Dutch. For Canada I tried it as Brits was fun on both revolts. I only play Treaty still fun. Very good list man. I will try Chile and other revolts.

Comment about Colombia, especially German will have the best Sloop in the whole game, and their Frigate and Monitor also able to reach Imperial. On land with church and arsenal card, the Independence guard instead becoming a 20% faster Imperial Musketeer with multiplier vs all cavalry. German Skirmisher are also the fastest one, and both it and Landwehr can also become Imperial. Uhlan can't be upgraded to Imperial, but you receive Llanero which is a Lancer outlaw, while lower in damage, they only cost 1 population, so Colombia land army is numerous because all of it's combo is only 1 pop each and fast at that, plus the bonus of Bolivar aura which also enhance allies HP by 10%, and he move at a speed of 6.5 as German.

There are basically 2 tier lists for revolts: • How good are they when they revolt? • Are they the best late game strategy for the civ? And how helpful are they to the earlier Ages by saving card slots for Age IV when you build around it?

I think that brasil should be split on dutch and on portugese; cuz dutch +jagelion (or the one with theresource equalizer) is infinite every resouce youmay want; and you can make a lor of mercs; im not saying is S tier but a b tier most likely; specially in some team games; i do recognize that south afreca is better but if south africa didnt have the mime and capitol; would be interesting to see who had better eco; cuz remember you get like 9 tc with feitorias, max banks if you want, like 3 wood trickle and 3. Something coin trickle. So it is q lot of resources. Again im not saying its stronger than SA but its good and better with dutch than portugese.

It’s not better as Dutch. The benefits mostly come from the town centers and you’d have to ship feitorias instead of just getting it as Portugal. Italy I’d argue is better then Dutch because you can use architects to build the town centers for free and don’t need to ship the retrain vill card immediately to do that. Against a competent opponent you simply don’t have time to set all that stuff up and if you do South Africa or going straight Imperial is much better. If you must do it as Dutch, rather than use mercs, go for Ruyters with the independence Dragoon card. That gives them a really good melee attack and Ruyters cost mostly coin. I considered making the list with each nation in mind but really it’s be clumped like crazy and a lot would be straight up D tier. For what’s it’s worth I think Port to Brazil is low a or high b, Italy to Brazil is low b and Dutch to Brazil is middle c.

Hungary takes a lot of set up to be good, but it is very powerful if you get the set up right, but Colombia is just out right terrible

Won't happen, the game last ages are are set in the late 18th /early 19th century And the Soviet Union was founded in 1924, 1917 if you take the revolution into account
