Nice job matey ,i've just recently refurbished a an old Irwin Record 3 ton vice I got off Marketplace for £15 ,it wasn't as bad as yours fortunately ,I've mounted it on an old scaffolding board so I can keep my bench free

Thanks man yeah with a bit of time and elbow grease anything can be brought back to life.

5l evaporust is just under £40. Just bought some last month for the first time

Yeah you’re right don’t know where I pulled that number from. I swear I thought I seen £80 for it but just check there your right. Really when it comes down to it that stuff I got done the exact same thing. It’s like anything, you’ll always pay more for the brand name.
