Reviving dried up bore wells (Kannada)
This film on bore well recharge system was originally released in TELUGU on 16th Dec 2019 at the training course on 'Aquifer Recharge in Rural and Urban Areas' at FTCCI, Red hills, Hyderabad by Water and Livelihoods Foundation, Hyderabad - www.wlfoundation.in. Now, this KANNADA version is to reach and help small farmers of KARNATAKA.

We do not make holes, we make staggered vertical cuttings in limited number.

Is it necessary to check whether 5000 liters water is soak by the borewell
Bore well caseing is Iron.. If we did bore well recharge that Iron caseing will be rust ..what we do please give suggestions ..

It is better to replace the pipe with PVC and do bore recharge.
Dear Pradeep, I do not think so. No impact of nilagiri trees on deep bore well water.
Recharge pit side of bore well will not help much. Because it does not send water directly to aquifer. it is slow and it takes only less water.
You need not replace entire length, only top one length you may do so with PVC pipe.
Sand type of land is suitable for this recharge process

Yes, provided the casing pipe is there to the bottom of the sandy layer, fully covering the sandy soil.
Can we directly poured rain water in borewell pipe?

Can. But dye to dirt motor gets damage. Before pouring take out motor

You may visit any bore recharge structure nearby to you and observe. It need not be the same method, any method followed by other organizations also okay.
