Love this one! Such a nice idea!

Great idea , most of the windsurfers have mix gear/old gear and can easier relate to this than a full blast of PWA hardcore racing . Its much closer to 95 % of people trying to learn and/or windsurfing.

Incredible videos Johannes! I have never seen so immersive shots of windsurfing before. I love to see the raw power of the windgusts pushing into the sails. Thist is as close to the real thing as it gets! Keep up the good work!

THIS is how Johannes captures a race with a drone. It has to be close to "feel" the race. Total respect for the effort the livestream drone pilot puts but its abit too far in my opinion. And yes I know the riders are going very fast and the drone cant catch up and they also try to capture them all, etc etc but the goal of drone footage is this. It has to be close

Very fun to watch that, thanks! I think to revive you'd need to have at least two different divisions. Most regular sailors can't forward and do spocks which is maybe why it died? I don't know. You'd have to include say duck gybe at one bouy. Then maybe a helitack at another, body drag somewhere and maybe toss in a carve 360. And keep it on a much shorter course, say 200m at the most.

This was more entertaining than the actual PWA slalom races! Would be interested in what boards the guys were using. Freestyle? This format would actually be the only one where Freewave boards make sense.

I don‘t agree, the current slalom racing season is a real thriller! There are 20 guys who can win a final or have to be happy to race the losers final. You can watch the last day tomorrow

Tricks in any sport degrade it's soul,...for example, freestyle MX was a great new thing because it drew the jerks out of MX 😂
