For the Scandinavian climate and touring, laminated Goretex is a winner for me. It’s rarely 80degree Fahrenheit or above and it raining a lot and the sun is shining a lot in the same time or every twenty minutes. Riding south, like below the 56 latitude or more active riding, laminated GoreTex is to hot 😊

I do prefer the colder weather. Easier to manage. just recently I have been riding more in hotter weather to get used to It.

@@TrackOurJourney So So true, it’s easier to put on more clothes than to avoid the heat. I have the Klim Badland pants, almost the same as Artemis but for men. My jacket is Rukka Thund-R, also laminated GoreTex. It’s a “low end” version of Rukkas Laminated GoreTex jacket. Its at good jacket but there is one thing I miss and that’s a “storm flap” for the Zipper. It would have added so much comfort to have better wind protection on the zipper

that is a big thing especially if you ride in wet weather a lot.

@@TrackOurJourneyYes it definitely is. I prefer to have it on all my jacket even them for not bike riding, but most of the time that’s a missing part 🤔

I've got Revit and Klim gear. I like them both but the Klim gear is made with better quality materials and features. I have no idea if the Klim gear is 'overpriced' because I don't know what it costs to make etc. I have toured Europe in both. I prefer the Klim or Richa gear because they are laminates and I don't have to keep changing liners etc as the conditions change and they don't 'wet out' . Thanks for your video.

I have not had the chance to try Richa gear. I will keep that in mind for next purchase. thank you!

My ranking is 1 - Alpinestars, 2 - Revit, 3 Dainese. My opinion is that Klim are too overpriced

I like alpine stars. But most of the time, what drives me to buy is if I need it and it is on sale. So most of the time I get the old models for cheap.
