Thanks for this tutorial. If i want to make a section where both head and tail are the same symbol as the head and show as a blue link on both sides bu default without havint to manually cycle every time how do i achieve that?

Sir. I have problem in foundation scheduling.pile and pile cap both family work same category.so pile and cap schedule display shows at a time.how can i show it different sheet. Or browser family name can be duplicated.thanks

You have 2 options here. (1) is filter the schedule by elements' family and/or type names, for example check if family name contains, or doesn't contain, the word "pile cap". Option (2) is add a custom Yes/No parameter to your foundation objects, tick or untick it depending on if the element is a pile cap or not, then use this parameter to filter your schedule in the same way for option (1). To make it easier, you can quickly select app piles or all pile caps using my free Revit plugin here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nJtmt8Nwp8jOlc4.html

I just got that image from Google actually. Not sure which font they used :)

Although I have unticked the "keep readable" option in properties and ticked" rotate with component " in family catagory and parameters. Still text is not rotating. Can you help

Sorry it's been a while since I did this tutorial. Please follow it exactly step by step, also pay attention to if each familly is "shared" or not.

this feature is available in revit 2021 only

Just a note. in 2019 - Right Click > Edit is not available you have to find the revit family in your family library.

Is the symbol blue in the project model only or also in the family?

@@RVBoost yes . Text in middle of line , other problems have been solved .

Man the section head is not rotating. I check and uncheck all but when I rotate the text symbol stay 90° . Help BTW on the next vid say with your golden voice (you are fired) or like Mortal Kombat ( ¡Challenge accepted!) with Mortal Kombat emotion

Good idea on doing the voice! I'm seriously considering it :) About the tag, please make sure you're using the same Revit version I used in the video, or a newer one. Some old versions don't support this feature.
