I agree about the strap of WWE shop belts. I bought an undisputed v2 as a gift recently and I honestly almost sent it back after feeling how stiff the strap was until I saw how happy just the gift alone made the person. Personally never buying another WWE shop belt unless it's a heavily discounted item. I bought a faux leather jacket 6 years back for 60 bucks (I think) that has way more flop than the strap I handled. I feel like there's no excuse for the strap being that crappy, but maybe it comes down to sourcing of all the materials plus cost - but the quality is just mediocre. I can tell WWE/Fanatics are probably just making massive profit on most of these replicas. I'll say the same about the undisputed v2's plates. There's no reason that the plates should be made the way they are with a black border completely around each plate. It's almost like they could have been placed on foam and that would have fit the product just the same. And then they also charge double for the Elite or Deluxe series versions which apparently just have different straps. That's absolute robbery.

I just got my 4mm brass version last week from Sami. Only cost me $200. It's definitely not the best out there but I'm very happy with what I got. It is still a thing of beauty. Let me just share with you an unsolicited rookie advise. Based on my own research, brass metal is actually a more ideal than zinc. It's more malleable (more flexible) and has a lesser tendency to corrode. I think in the belt hobby context, zinc's only advantage is just the way it shimmers/shine against light. I'm not sure, but I personally think it's not much of a big deal.

Orm and Nawaz are two different makers. Both are good but Nawaz is good AND affordable.

Bro thank you for that last line!!! Although I love bringing out my belts to gatherings and get togethers, I always have this inner battle within myself cause idk what people are gunna say.

Yeah! I find that people who are wrestling fans you wouldn’t expect love to hold it and ask questions! I have met so many wrestling fans bringing it out shopping and gatherings 🤣🤣🤣

I have some people stare and say stuff but I don’t care. I paid $300 to feel like a champ! Having it sit on a shelf for years does nothing for me, unless it’s a ring used or collector’s item, I’m gonna show that thing off brother!

Bro exactly!! All that money just to collect dust?! No thank you! And you’re right about finding fans too. When I posted my first pic with the Big Gold belt on IG, my comments section had folks who were wrestling fans, which was such the pleasant surprise.

I'm waiting on a dual plated winged eagle I'm taking that sob every where after looking at it and others for over a year now and I couldn't care less what anyone had to say even the wife

From what I've heard from a few people MOC Belts is not a bad choice for belts but Fight Nite (& Nawaz etc) are a great choice to buy from

MOC’s belts seem to be hit or miss. I’ve had friend’s with very differing experiences. Two very good with decent quality replicas and one with a terrible experience. Verbally abused, threatened, and still has not received his replica going on almost 2 years. Fight Nite and Sami are nice but I have found two other makers who are more consistent and better quality. They’re great if you’re starting out though! I think Nawaz and XMAN are the best overseas at the monent for my experience and money.

I just picked up an OG big Eagle with the WWF block logo on the blue strap made by someone named Ali Anas of Altair Belts . I have never heard of him and I bought the belt second hand but it's in good condition. It's not without it's flaws. The plating isn't perfect nor is the strap. But like you, I believe this quality is WAY better than what the WWE shop is putting out. Now don't get me wrong, the WWE shop plates and fantastic. But those straps! I mean, cardboard in the middle? Seriously? I believe the issue with their straps is they do not want to manufacture these belts as realistic as their wrestlers belts because, I dunno, maybe they feel that would take something away from their "real" belts and they won't be as prestigious anymore? Either way they DO have the ability to put their plates on real leather straps. They just choose not to because for what they charge for their belts now, they would raise the prices and probably feel people won't pay that.

Fight nite and Sami Malik is legit and he makes great belts. There has been issues with the snaps though. I love my fight nite belt and I got another coming.

Yeah they are def legit! I love Sami and make it clear I would def support him again. I will def order another belt from him as the plates are thick and heavy as hell! I’ll just cautiously expect to but a new strap though if the snaps are not aligned going forward. He’s an awesome dude and like I said in the video, def support him!

Got one from sami.. a winged eagle. The price was great the wait time was less than a month; however, the plates had many flaws that drove me nuts. If you just want an affordable winged eagle that feels like the real one go with sami. But if you really want high quality.. I hear nawaz is the way to go. I been hearing great things about altair belts also. I'm planning on giving away my fite nite belt and getting an HD from another maker. That's my honest opinion.

I ordered from XMan but may be going for a winged eagle with Nawaz. Never heard of Altair belts though. They have a facebook page? Ohhh man well I hope the person you give away to enjoys the belt! Yeah I respect your opinion and hopefully one day I can review a Nawaz belt soon!

I highly recommend to get it releathered by Kevin Lambert. He’s done 2/3 of my belts right now. You will NOT be disappointed...

Dude Fite nite does some really good work. Just go to Kevin Lambert to releather it. Muhammad Nawaz does a better quality belt, plates and leather. Dont keep buying from Sami if you want to get a perfect Big Eagle. Sell that one and upgrade to an HD Nawaz Big Eagle trust me you'll like the Nawaz HD WAAAY BETTER!

Oh? When did that happen? I looked at WWE shop but I don’t see a real leather options for their replicas. There are youtubers who bought deluxe and elite replicas and found they were still cardboard and foam in the straps and using top grain leather which is not real leather. HazardF5 actually has a video showing this. Thanks for the comments sir!

Hi! Bending 4mm+ plates yourself has been ill advised as the plates could break. I have never done it myself to a 4mm plate because of this. 2mm I have bent though without issues. Thanks!

I'm gonna be honest. Fight night belts ARE trash. Plating is trash, and that stamped strap is trash. I wouldn't waste my money on Fight night. Save up and go with ORM, CS.

Nawaz is hands down the best for the price. Sami Malik is ass!
