7/11 was my main map back in the day, when I first went into the elevator I was very scared by it, instead of doing what I probably would have done in any other situation, I decided to keep using the map despite discovering something that terrified me! Ever since then I would always block up the elevator and try to “contain” this thing that was literally just red lights and it’s so hilarious to me now that I look back at me barricading and containing red lights. Some of these maps I've never even seen in my 10+ years on it. Some of my picks would be zs_stormier_v2 as it was my favorite ZS map, Mobenix v3 as one of my favorite Sandbox maps, and Ubyu Downtown for Dark RP. It was an altered version of Downtown but with a Night club. Maps I mentioned I think I played around early 2009 if I'm not mistaken. Always love seeing other's nolstalgic experiences with Gmod!

Garry's mod is just a mod that was full with some great and talented creators, not only in map design but also in making machinimas, before Blender and SFM we had this and it was still great. As for the map designs, even back in the day there were massive maps like Evocity, and it seems like the map creators only evolve. I have seen so many impressive things on this workshop, and the fact is free makes me appreciate the source community and it's great add-on creators.
I've played this game for so long that my other top 4 playtimes combined don't even scratch this game's. No matter what you do, there's a rabbit hole of mods maps and servers for it, which gave it basically infinite replayability, I still remember how to get to one of the only hidden rooms on GM_bigcity from my days of build-and-kill servers. And oh boy, Venturiontale is a name i haven't heard in forever now.
