this is a god tier video. saving me time searching for quotes and all the themes.

I have my english literature paper tomorrow and I was so stressed and I can not tell you enough how much this has helped me see a different perspective on the novel. Hopefully it goes well but what a saviour this video is!

for the appearance you could look at the theory of physiognomy and how Stevenson disagreed with this theory that 'criminals could be distinguished by physical characteristics' instead he never describes Hyde's appearance, further adding to the ambiguity of him as a whole character

How does he never describe Hyde's appearance though? He's depicted as a a "short", "deformed" looking man with "ape-like" features. I like your analysis but I don't understand your point. Can you please explain?

These videos are life saving. They make revision actually fun and are so in depth even a few minutes of watching this could boost your grade. Going to recommend to everyone in my class, but that might tighten the grade boundaries.

Coming back to this video after having just done my exam, and I can't tell you how much it helped. I watched the Macbeth version of this video the night before and this video on the morning of the exam, and they helped me so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I've listened to this and taken notes so many times in the past few months. This video alone has taught me so much about the novel, I feel so much more confident for the exam on Wednesday!

Oi they do say throughout the novel meaning anywhere however they expect you to talk about the beginning middle and end-of course ,though,you have to start with the extract and make sure you know what part its from-usually will tell you what scene

I know you probably don't teach LOTF anymore in favour of an Inspector Calls but a few videos perhaps just on the final chapter would be incredible, the current videos I the playlist have really changed my perspective on the book and Literature in general, understanding the writer's intention have taken my work from a level 5/6 to 7/8 and it's all down to you

This video is amazing. My english literature paper 1 is tomorrow and I was really worried about it. After watching this I'm really confident and learnt more from this video than I did at school. Can't thank you enough!!! :)

I got a overall 7 for lit and a 8 for language which I'm so happy with. My downfall for lit was my Jekyll and Hyde essay as I now no its best to state the norm (for example Hyde is devilish) then contrast with a different opinion. Thank you Mr salles as I got a 9 in poetry!!
